I don't think we formally met -- one of the downsides of the larger ABD group. We were traveling with our daughter and 2 sons (some of the JAs in your first post), and were with another family with 2 boys. It seemed like there were a lot of larger groups on the trip (I guess we may have qualified as one with our 9) which I think also hindered socializing a bit on the ship.
To answer the question above about how kids enjoyed it, our 3 kids - ages 12, 10 and 10 - really enjoyed it. All the kids on the trip seemed to get along well, and enjoyed eating dinner together in the lounge each night and made great use of the pool. Mine would probably rank this below our other ABD (which was South Africa, so perhaps not a fair comparison), but pretty high on their overall vacation rating scale. And I really liked the convenience of the ship - we did another week total in pre and post days in Prague and Budapest and it was nice to have the cruise in the middle to unpack and not worry about meals or activities for the week.
