Hi!
This will be my first official Chicago area DIS meet.

LOL! This will be my second Chicago DIS meet, unless my family wants to
take my sister and me out for our birthdays for dinner. (I'll suggest Sunday!)

Gino's East in Rolling Meadows will be a mini-hike from me, but not terrible.

I haven't read the whole thread but has anyone picked a place? Suggestion: (although may be far for a lot of people)...out in Elgin on Randall Road...5 min south of I-90 theres a big pizza place called Nick's...really good...they have rooms you can rent out as well.

Oh man! I was so excited to find out about what would be me first Chicago-area DIS meet and it turns out my evil mother-in-law will be in town that weekend.

I'd so rather meet up with you guys. Maybe next time . . .

depending on how late 'late afternoon' is, we might be able to make it. I am going to Scout Fest (all day Cub Scout training) in Niles from 8-4:30.
So, if late afternnon is more like dinner, then what better way to celebrate my 17th anniversary LOL
