I think we have enough nerds here that with a case of beer and some time we could get it going. Who is going in first?

Most of you have some form of IT job. Sign of the times I guess.

Which is why we spend so much time online and the DIS At least for me if I was building houses I doubt I would have ever found this place.

You've never been so right. IT dudes, Disney Fanatics, and this place seem to work in concert with each other.

I was hooked after the first TSM Party (even if I wasn't "there"). After the cruise and TSM 2 I'm here for good

I was here in 1997. At that time finding Disney World information on the Internet was tough. I looked for quite a while before the DIS was around. When I came across the DIS it was a great place to visit and interact with other Disney enthusiasts. For me this place was an information portal for the Disney theme parks.

When the podcast started and the Unplugged board came around it all changed for the better. All of sudden, what was just a Disney information portal became a Disney social media site. And the rest is history. We all met, had good times, and now can't wait for the next time we can all get together for some laughs and spirits. Cheers!

I don't know that I have the brains to make the transporter, but as a librarian I could research it for you.

My arms huuuuuuuurt! They stuck me twice at the doc's office this morning. Now I have two lovely bruises on my arms...I'd take a picture, but that would gross people out.


Can't wait for Friday night! I am so looking forward to our big group date here in Indy! It's gonna be a blast!

I won't be in chat tomorrow night...I picked up a shift and it's the closing one, so I won't even make it home until 11:30pm-ish. So stay outta trouble peeps...

Thursday night those of us going on the DIS ABD California trip are having a "special chat."
Friday night the Indy crew is getting together for a little food and some gambling at one of the local casinos.

DH is finally home from Florida after having been visiting with his brother for the past week and a few days. We are hoping the investigation might be wrapped up by next week so things will be back to normal next week.

Morgan's 16th birthday is tomorrow and while there is no way I can't beat her 13th birthday (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oMzvoDLHXU), we have arranged for a limo to pick her and a friend up from school and then meet up with the rest of her friends at the ice rink to take the kids to the Hard Rock in Baltimore, Md for dinner. It certainly won't be as grand as the 13th birthday, but I'm hoping she will still have fond memories of her sweet 16.
