Trying to get info on what to expect. Never done a back to back. I will start researching more but wanted to know if anyone had experience they wanted to share since restart.
Two hours isn't bad at all. I find that to be on the low end of B2B and we have done a few.Not sure if this will be helpful to you, but we spoke with a couple on our cruise this weekend who did B2B on the 9th/13th and they said their time off the ship was longer than anticipated -- about 2 hours. They were still the first to re-board.
Sailing Friday and Monday. If no one gives you an answer before, I can help you Monday
Thank you for the details!! Do you know if they will allow me to bring a laptop with me so I can do some work during the waiting times? We did 2 last week. We got a note in the app from guest services to meet in pub 687 at 9:15 on embarkation day. We did. A cast member came around and verified our names and staterooms. Once all other passengers were off the ship (it took a while - They kept calling for random families to leave the ship) we were escorted off as a big group.
We went thru customs. It was a breeze. They were waiting for us. Then the cast member led us to the terminal and we sat as a group and waited. We all did have to go to the check in counter to show our safe passage QR code’s and online checkin form for the second cruise.
After about an hour, they led us back onto the ship. They did not tell us where we could go. I finally asked and they told us to go to cove cafe. They had free food and coffee for us. I checked our stateroom, but the main doors were closed. We went to deck 13 and then to cabanas. Then the staterooms were ready. Easy process. Probably took about 3 hours from meeting in the pub to back on the ship.
