Annual Passholder Previews REGISTRATION LINK IN FIRST POST-EVENT FULLY BOOKED

I'm in the same boat. Originally was planning my trip for early September, but my sister made me move up my dates so I could be there with her family, so I moved them to August 17 months ago. Then when Galaxy's Edge opening was announced, I added a couple of days to the end of my trip. Their announcing the AP Previews threw a bit of a wrench in my planning because I was going to do a couple of tours this trip, but now don't want to book ahead in case that's the only day I can go to Galaxy's Edge. I have my MNSSHP and H2OGlow tickets already, and right now I'm waiting to see if I get an AP Preview so I can finish my planning!

I'm right there with you. We have a Yacht Club reservation I made for the expected dates, but I would love to be able to lock everything in and finally book flights (which are going up every day). I have a few things booked here and there but haven't committed to park days or FPs in the hope of getting an AP preview. I"m leaning towards just booking flights and getting FPs so that regardless we have a nice trip before school starts back. If we don't get a preview, we'll see SWGE when we're back in the fall.

Here's hoping we get news one way or another soon! :)

Honestly, I’ve reached the point of just being mad. Excitement is almost gone. You don’t announce there will be previews weeks in advance with no other communication- that’s just dumb. People have lives to plan. We’re less than a month away- flights increasing in price, commitments for other events need to be made, DVC or hotel reservations are being held by many for no reason. It’s just another example of how poorly they manage things like this.

I am completely feeling the same way. When this started, I was soooooo excited. Now, I'm like, whatever, I'll see this when I see. I just want closure. It's hard to sustain the level of excitement for 5 weeks and my energy for this is just floundering.

We're going to Disney on Thursday and don't want to be on the phone the whole time, plus today through Wednesday, it will be busy at work!
Agreed! Plus Im getting closer to my October trip so I will see it then. It be nice if I get this but would also like to be done looking as well. Someone posted awhile back they might as well announced about the tron ap preview from now lol. It's just dumb at this point that its not been released. Plus with every day that goes by the flight price goes up. As crazy as this sounds it was going to cost me over 3 grand to go anyway with flights/hotel spend money etc considering vip tour while we are there to get into the land now lol it may actually be cheaper at this point

Just got my *second* Passholder email ever and almost got a heart attack (it’s just a reminder that there are Passholder rates for this summer, LOL).

I guess the opting in did work!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that had they not announced it and just dropped it, it would have had JUST as many complaints.

What they should have done is what they did for the CM previews: about a week before the registrations were due to go live they should have announced (via email and via the Passholder website) the time and date that registrations will go live, along with any restrictions, etc. No random teases via the Disney Parks Blog a month beforehand (although I suspect that was a mistake) and no [non]information on the Passholder website 2+ weeks beforehand (which was presumably necessary just to fend off all the guest questions triggered by the initial mistake).

? Can you elaborate on what this means?
Seems off-topic.

I think they are talking about Operations taking over SWGE and the last of the construction is finalizing, so they are preparing the entrances of the land so that it can be accessed through guest accessible pathways. It's On Topic in that speculation revolves around the fact that we won't receive the email until Operations has control of the land, as they wouldn't want to have to remove days after they have been set for AP Preview.

If they are modifying the entrances, that could mean we'll see the email in the next few days.

Where did this come from?

So only 5 days? That is disappointing. I figured it would be at least until the 24th.

And it still says one guest. This makes it sound like I have to choose between taking my son or my wife. Also disappointing. Never mind. I see it says every pass holder is eligible. I guess the guest thing is just for coordinating time slots with someone else?

Having to choose between experiences is fine, but I figured that wouldn’t be the case due to a limited number of people signing up.
