An Epic Girl's Trip With Some Joey on the Side...Updated 4/29-COMPLETE

I've never eaten at Olivia's before! But I've heard good things!

Give it a shot on one of your upcoming trips. I would be very shocked if you didn't like it.

Staying at the GF- how exciting!!

I've never eaten at Olivias. But so nice that you'll be eating there again!

It will be our third time staying there and I am sooooo excited!!!
Give Olivia's a shot sometime. It's so good!

I love Olivia’s! I’ll actually be staying at Old Key West during our meet-up weekend!

How awesome!!!!!!! Are you going to have a chance to grab a meal there????

I'm sure I would like it! I just never seem to make it over there. One of these trips I will have to though! Maybe with DH in September now that Sebastian's is no longer doing lunch!

The Grand!!! That's so awesome and for only $100 more!! That's super!

Olivia's has never been on my radar. At all. But, if a favorite of yours I'm really happy you get to get back there and try it out again. Maybe someday I'll get there, but for now, just way too many other places that have been on my list for longer.

Epcot With the Ladies:

I believe the plan this afternoon is to meet all the ladies at Epcot for some Flower/Garden eating and drinking fun...I am really looking forward to this. Believe it or not, but I have never partaken in the food booths during Flower/Garden, so this will actually be a first for me. Joe will be coming along too, as I'm pretty sure the other husbands/sig others will be joining in the fun as well...I'm not sure what's going to be available at the booths, as I've not seen anything posted yet for 2019. Have the menu's been listed somewhere???? So, as soon as I can take a look, I'll let you all know what I'm interested in trying out...I do know that the musical acts this weekend do not interest me at all. I really wish Rick Springfield would have been scheduled that weekend. I totally would have gotten my Jessie's Girl on...He was my first...concert.:rolleyes1

As far as FP's go, I'd like to get one for Test Track and one for FEA. I really, really like the Frozen ride. Fortunately for me, it hasn't broken down while I've ridden it and I think it's super cute. I know a lot of people could take it or leave it, but it's a must for me whenever I get to visit Epcot.

I haven't made any dining reservations for lunch or dinner this day, as I'm sure all of my eating will be at the booths. I do plan on grabbing another avocado margarita. I had this for the first time in October and really liked it. Who's with me????

I'd also like to try the school bread. Yep, I know I'm in the minority here, but I've never had it and it looks so yummy.

At some point, we will have to leave Epcot and head back to the Wilderness Lodge. I'd like to shower and change my clothes because we have some AWESOME plans with the ladies again this night...:daisy:

Stay tuned to see how we spend our evening after a day of feasting and boozing through Flower and Garden...

Hint...Look at my Signature...
Sweet! We stayed at the GF on our very first Disney trip 10 years ago and I loved it! The rest of my family was not really a fan. Now I need to hear about when you stayed RPC at the GF! #lifegoals

Well, I got that figured out...I booked breakfast at Olivia's in the Old Key West Resort. This is a restaurant that Joe and I really like.
I always hear great things about Olivias!

A first for me too!! I've done TONS of F&W, but the first time I went to a F&G was WAYYYYY back in 2006? And there were no food booths back then. Hmm, come to think of it, might have even been 2000? Anyway, I love this concept and like you, no plans for ADRs.

as I've not seen anything posted yet for 2019.

No, not yet. I keep checking but no luck.

Have the menu's been listed somewhere????

Try here every so often...

As we were walking into the GF to check in, a cast member with a clipboard stopped me and asked if I was Jennifer Sperandeo. I told her I was and she asked me a few questions as she took me to the front desk. Then she told me that our room wasn't quite ready but that anyone at concierge could escort us up to the lounge whenever we wanted until our room was ready. And that was history...We had a lovely room with a theme park view in the Main Building. It was a pixie dust moment that I will cherish FOREVER!!!

I always hear great things about Olivias!

Olivia's is the bomb!!!

Woot! Woot!:yay:

MAY DISNEY GOALS:

I'm stuck at home today. We got 8" of snow last night with freezing rain to come later this afternoon, so I thought I'd make a list of things I'd like to accomplish in Disney during the Epic Girl's Trip. You know, things I haven't done before, that I'd like to give a try...So, here goes (in no particular order)...

1. Try a Mickey Premium Bar (Yep, I'm probably the ONLY one on the DIS who hasn't had one)
2. Drink a Lapu Lapu in the pineapple
3. Ride FOP and not throw up...:crazy2:
4. Try a new restaurant in DS, either QS or TS
5. Eat at Satu'li Canteen
6. Try School Bread (Yep, another one I haven't been able to get my hands on)
7. Get my picture taken with Kevin from UP (I LOVE that bird)!!!
8. Get a drink at Trader Sam's Grotto
9. Monorail Bar Crawl-Anyone possibly up for this??? @ariane37 @kastoney @buzzrelly ????
10. Buy a new Dooney!!!!!

I think my list is a bit daunting right now. It may be giving me some anxiety...Who thinks I will be able to get some of this done????:P

I WISH I was home today!!! But, I made the trek to school through the Chicago snow this a.m. It took 2 hours to make the 15 mile drive...it was insanity.

Love your list! These are the ones on my list, too :)

I was lucky. Today is actually my day off.:D

We totally need to make them happen!!!!

So, do you actually live in the city? I'm in Oswego, just west of Chicago.

I'm waiting for the menus to be released too! I don't usually get too many things from the booths but I like to see what they have!

I don't think your list looks too daunting! Looks completely doable!
