Advice Needed-Getting Laid off

Now that you know your getting laid off, start looking for a new job.

This is the best advice. It will take time especially in the current job climate to find a job. However by starting now you can get a jump on the process. In addition since it seems to have gotten around the office already, you can discretely bring this up to others who work with you and see if they will be references and or have any leads.
