Your nocturnal delight kicks off with an eerie greeting from your “Master of Scare-omonies” Jack Skellington and his ghostly dog Zero—spirits from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. As Jack and Zero fade into the night leaving you to enjoy what’s to come, settle in and embrace the jump-worthy collision of sights and sounds—soaring flames, projections of rising ghosts and classic Disney villains like Maleficent and Ursula the Sea Witch—all set to a medley of Halloween-inspired songs… one showstopper after another.

Finally, as you reach the grand finale, there’s no need to be shy. Feel free to sing—or scream―along! Plus, on select nights, you’ll also be able to watch sparkling fireworks possess the sky.

Know Before You Go
Fireworks occur on select nights only. Please check the Entertainment Schedule for the performance schedule; nights featuring fireworks will be listed as Halloween Screams with Fireworks.

Along Buena Vista Street
Note marvelously menacing touches like the Headless Horseman statue and other dastardly decorations from beyond the grave.

Visit Radiator “Screams”
Cruise into Cars Land to see what’s in store—including cars in car-stumes—this Haul-O-Ween in Radiator Springs, which transforms into Radiator Screams for the season.

Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween

While his kooky cugini (aka, cousins) give Guests a spooktacular spin around the dance floor, Luigi and Guido add a haunted twist to traditional songs and stories from the old country—including the “Terror-antella,” “The Chop Top of Carsoli” and more.

This boo-some twosome pulls out all the pit stops with don’t-miss Haul-O-Ween décor and tons of be-hitching fun—but it’s only around during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort!

While tractor-trailer dance partners swirl Guests around the graveyard, Mater becomes the life of the party by crooning creepy country tunes with a Haul-O-Ween twist—including “Welcome to Radiator Screams,” “Monster Truck Smash” and other frightfully delightfully dark ditties. Ghosties beware… this junkyard-turned-graveyard is filled with tombstone grills that beckon you to “rust-in-peace!”

Biggest question is......will DCA now close at 6pm for regular guests on those party nights? I'm pretty sure I know the answer to that is yes. Guess I am not going to be the only one having to change already made park reservations.

I'M SO EXCITED.

ETA: The confirmation of the full onslaught of Halloween offerings - themed food, Halloween Screams, all of it - and including OBB, with the parade and everything - makes me so joyful and also makes me more confident about Christmas offerings. I just hope they don't move to an after-hours Christmas "party."

Love that they are starting Halloween on Labor Day weekend- usually it starts right after. Not totally a surprise given the HMH overlay closure dates that were already posted but nice to see confirmation!

Yes.

One possible thing to consider is that in 2019 (the only year OBB existed), DCA could be a ghost town on party days because no one wanted to "burn" a ticket on an early closure... and that was back when APs were in full force. It's possible that the party days might be VERY light crowds at DCA, and they've usually opened at 8am those days, so you might get a solid 7 hours of "pretty empty park." Unfortunately, there's no real way to predict that for sure. But if you're going for a lot of days (like on 5-day tickets or something), it might be worth a gamble.

We are excited! I have a park hopper for a Thursday party day, starting at DL, because I anticipated if there was a party we would be in DCA all night, I could drop that day and just go to DCA when it opens for mix-in at 3, torn, in theory DL could be open till midnight and we could come back to DL for that last hour. We loved the one and only OBB, had a blast… have done a bunch of MHP in the past and loved those too. OBB was different, we loved the staged characters on the treat trails instead of waiting in lines for them, and the (forgot what they called it) spooky lighted area over by grizzly was very cool.

This is the first time HMH starts before a Labor Day weekend. And the Mansion is closed for half of August. Christmas before Labor Day! Pushing it a little for me. But for those there on Labor Day weekend and before it enjoy!

Is it clear whether Web Slingers will be open during the party? And if it is, I assume it’ll be standby with no virtual queue during party hours?

I'm really excited for this and I do plan on going. I wasn't sure if we would get a halloween party this year since we haven't been open that long here... pretty exciting. Does anyone remember what the ticket prices were back in 2019?
