2017 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 31, 2017 - November 13, 2017

The Wine flights they served in Germany in the past have been about the same amount as the tastings you get at a seminar. The glasses they use are about 1/2 the size of the ones they use for the regular offerings so slightly bigger than a thimble. So the price sounds about right for what you get. The price listed for Spain is the same as Africa. You get way more in the Beer flights.

I checked the Touring Plans Lines app and the park crowds are predicted at 2/10. Outside of Frozen and Test Track waits seem very low.
Ride wait times do not correspond to booth wait times at all. I don't know about you, but after eating and drinking, Test Track and Mission Space don't sound fun.

I added up what I thought I might like, getting at least one thing from each booth and it came to around $116, not bad. So I figure I'll buy a $200 wrist gift card, who wants to bet that puppy gets reloaded with at least $100 more dollars?

At the moment, without all the prices up, I'm at about $95 ...

Thanks to the wonders of social media I am only missing pricing for Germany, Greece, and The Cheese Studio. I am kinda afraid to add up my total :scared:

This is where the 2 snack credits/day on the Fall free dining promo get a real good workout. I always crunch the numbers each Spring to decide if the promo will actually work for me. Paying rack rate at the All Stars works for me when F&W Festival is on tap. :thumbsup2

You're welcome :P

I'm just waiting on Brazil, Intermissions Cafe (if any) and The Refreshment Ports.

It's usually just flights, champagne and the cheese and wine plate that aren't included

The thing is, some of the flights are under $7 and some of the single pours are $15. That's why I was hoping to see a comprehensive listing of specific exclusions. I expect the champagne to be excluded, but the pass might be worth it if we just use it on the other expensive drinks.

some type of impact to the US (Florida region) is somewhat likely

http://wdwnt.com/blog/2017/08/food-wine-festival-2017-tasting-sampler-tabs-return-lesser-valur/

Exclusions on the use of tabs:
  • All beers larger than 6 oz.
  • All tasting flights
  • Dom Perignon champagne
  • The Artist Palette of Wine and Cheese

So they are covering the other champagnes this year? From what I remember none of the champagne was covered in 2015 - or am I mistaken?

There is a $16 & $13 champagne I would definitely use this for.

Thank you. I see a few items that are different than what I first heard about.

Back to the drawing board...

I think that last year, only food and drink from the "market places" were covered by the sampler coupons, meaning the special drinks at Joffrey's carts were excluded.

I would be thrilled if that restriction is gone.
