Ovation of the Seas - Alaska

Thanks for the tips! I will check out those other cruise lines. Unfortunately I really like balcony rooms and with that plus a family of 5, I am priced out of the Disney Alaskan Cruise.

Thrifty Couples Adventure of the Seas 2/1 to 2/9 Trip Report

I am interested in your thrifty cruise advice :) We have been on one 3 night Disney cruise and we didn't spend any additional money on board :) We stayed on board in Nassau and didn't pay for anything additional at Castaway Cay. We are planning to go on our 1st RCCL cruise (oasis class ship)...

Ovation of the Seas - Alaska

Do you all generally recommend the RCCL Alaska cruise? I am generally interested in going to Alaska one day. My parents went there on a land-based trip (not cruise). Thanks!

1st RCCL cruise / Oasis / Falmouth & Cozumel excursions Qs

@DisMommyTX : “I recommend only 1 excursion per port, even on long port days.” Hehe that is probably actually very good advice and probably should have been obvious to me!! Thanks! Of any upgrades, I am considering dining!! Thanks again everyone!!

1st RCCL cruise / Oasis / Falmouth & Cozumel excursions Qs

Hi! I was excited to find this RCCL board here! I have only been on one cruise before and it was a three night Disney dream cruise out of Port Canaveral. At that time my kids were 7, and almost 5, and almost 2. Now they’ll be 11, 9, and 6 on the RCCL cruise. We loved the Disney Cruise but...

Oh haha I forgot somehow that I agreed to run the Princess Half Marathon with my sister & cousin so we will be there in Feb. for two nights, too. I don't even know if we will have time to visit the parks or what.

Hi! I am checking in to follow this report! I actually booked our next trip already - next Sept. at Beach Club! So I'll be interested to read the YC notes from you. I was at WDW the same time as you - we were there 8/19 to 8/24. We stayed at AKL and had a great time! We did the free dining...

    ****December 2020 Thread****

UGH I think I messed up and I didn't know in advance that I wanted to do a bounceback offer - I think I thought I could only use it for next August and I knew I didn't want to then, but here I am planning a Dec. trip like you. I think I could have done it :( :( :(

    ****December 2020 Thread****

I just went to Disney in August 2019 (staying in AKL), with my parents, my sister, and my 3 kids (now 10, 7, and 4) (my husband had to work, and he doesn't love Disney), but I think my in-laws would like to go with us too, so now I am seriously considering December 2020 (possibly 12/18 to 12/23)...

DHS/Toy Story Land "Early Morning Magic" (EMM) FAQ & Discussion

I also want to try to get an early-ish Jedi training slot so we can get out of the park by lunchtime. Last Friday, 3/22 my friend was at DHS. At 10:39am she took a photo for me of a sign saying there were still Jedi training slots available (but who knows what times - probably later ones)...

DHS/Toy Story Land "Early Morning Magic" (EMM) FAQ & Discussion

I’m not going until mid August so I have some time on this, but we also really want to do Jedi training. Can anyone advise what time I should try to leave TSL EMM to sign up for Jedi training? Thanks!

2019 PTRs - Utah and Hilton Head and Disney! Oh my! (updated 4/1)

The Disney update is that I was hemming and hawing over TSL EMM, and when I finally went to book it a week or two ago - it was sold out! But, I didn't give up and I kept checking. Yesterday to my surprise I was able to book it for the date I wanted! I did not originally want to book it...
