Maybe I missed this in another post, what rides are allowedfor prior selection? Just the genie rides or the genie+ rides as well?

Looks like not until Nov 1 WDW, so two weeks after the launch of Genie. Somewhere I thought Disney said that DL would follow in a few weeks, so I think we are unlikely to have the new DAS system in early nov.

I think we will know more when it launches on WDW... But it should like a min DL roll out will be a few weeks out from WDW so I'm not counting on it before our mid Nov trip.

Genie+ is coming with some new features to manage DAS passes which you should qualify for if you son is autistic and that then makes standing in long rides more challenging.

On past Disney trips we have utilized the dinner reservations + reserved seating for most shows/parades etc as it has been the easiest way to manage my son's anxiety in large crowds. Note, he has several reasons why we get a DAS pass when we go to Disney. Given that those options are no longer...

We just booked a trip over thanksgiving (Nov 22-Dec 4 staying with friends for a 5 days in the middle) and I was surprised that they weren’t one the schedule. Does WDW have a history of announcing them last min?

It is our first WDW trip, we have been to DL several times, but that is a different beast altogether!

Do you think there is a point to attempting to get to Smugglers Run the Sunday during Morning Extra Magic Hour? We are early risers and could be at the park by 7am, but it every hotel is going to be at capacity, as we are also coming back Dec 1-4, so I wonder if just a regular day would be...

I am glad I noticed. We are there for the weekend before, thanksgiving, then Mon - Wed the week after. I was planning on doing Frozen Ever After on one of our last two nights (especially since we will be at CBR and will be able to to take the gondola). But I am going to switch it around now...

What are the chances of that? :) ha
