I think I was just surprised because I was expecting FOP to be hard to get, but it was wide open. And even now I can get 7DMT for any time after 5, but BTMRR and Splash are sold out. Disney math hurts my head
I was on at 60 + 1 days to get Fastpass for 7DMT right at 7am. There were never any morning times available. Could it be that they never released any morning times? I was able to get everything else, even FOP, it just seems weird. Earliest available FP time was 335PM.
Twice I have seen little kids get lost at disneyworld. In both situations, the kid called out “Mommy?” maybe 2 times and was almost immediately approached by cast members. It made me feel good to realize that Disney actively looks to help kids that appear lost
From last June:
Best: Garden Grill Lunch, great character time, didn’t feel rushed. Food was great and we enjoyed the revolving scenery.
Worst: Casey’s hot dogs, I have tried on two trips now to simply get hot dogs for my kids here. The line just doesn’t move, it is chaos. Stood in line for...
We took our daughter when she was 9 months old. Staying at the Polynesian was good for that trip because we didn’t have to fold up the stroller to get on the monorail. I would suggest getting a smaller stroller, but not an umbrella one...if that makes sense. We found one in the $40 range that...
We had lunch there last summer and loved it. My little boy had a great time with the characters. The food was great too. It is one of our favorite places to eat!
I thought about this when we visited Universal a couple of months ago. The security check point was much more thorough than anything Disney does, you can’t even get into City Walk without going through the metal detector. It made me feel safer there and I appreciated that they are making a...
We do not tell the kids until we are in the car and heading to Disney, hahaha! It is an 8 hour drive so that is plenty of anticipation for my crew. I make the kids travel goody bags with little Disney souvenirs I get mostly at Target or the Dollar store and their favorite snacks. We play...
I know, but the parking fee really ticked me off. It changed my mind about wanting to splurge. Now I want to have fun with the kids but without forking tons of money over to the mouse. Simple changes have saved us hundreds of dollars, if we keep it up we might be able to go on two vacations...
I did not cancel my upcoming June trip, but I did switch from a deluxe to a FW cabin and for the first time ever we will be packing a lunch for our Magic Kingdom day. I’m looking forward to our picnic and saving $$$. Oh look, I just saved WAY more than $19/night. Stupid parking fee actually...
My first thought when I heard about paid parking was, “okay, what can we take away to make up for this?” My immediate thought was an overpriced meal at a Disney restaurant. Since I am paying a fee for my vehicle, this makes me inclined to use it and save the money by driving 2 miles and eating...
Yes! It was so dark that for a few seconds I thought I was in the wrong place! I started walking back and found some other people in line behind us. It was disconcerting!
We will be in Disney for our 16th wedding anniversary which is also my birthday. I want to plan a special dinner for that evening. Our 3 kids will be with us (12,10,4). We are staying at the WL so I was thinking Artist Point or California grill but I wasn’t sure how kid friendly those options...
Isn’t it funny how exciting a little box of cereal can be? Yes, they do sell them like that still. I like to use them as leverage “first kid to fall asleep gets to pick their cereal first in the morning.” Hahaha!
It was more like 45 minutes. The wait is inside and they play a movie so it didnt feel bad. The only other wait was Flight School which was about 25 minutes.
