Finally made it to Food & Wine over the weekend. I have to say, this year was quite an improvement over 2023 -- despite fewer booths.
The merchandise this year was outstanding! I was happy to see a return of a F&W t-shirt, and the wine glasses also had a more unique design compared to 2023...
Usually the break even point (for Magic Key holders) is any dish ~$7 or over. But it ultimately depends on the price they list it at.
I usually get it and enjoy it. I really wish the Sip & Savor pass covered alcohol like it does in EPCOT, but I assume that is due to legal reasons.
Updating the first post now!
I'd also like to point out that this is the second year in a row that only one marketplace at the Food & WINE Festival is serving wine... 😒
We think it was 7:30 or 8:00am, and I think it lasted a half-hour. The instructor gave us the option to get in and bring the paddleboard out on our own, or get on the board and have the instructor pull us out. I waded in and my husband was pulled out. Enjoy!
I just added this to the first post, but the latest Disney Visa Rewards Insider confirms the return of these four marketplaces:
Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo
Golden Dreams
LA Style
Nuts About Cheese
I've taken paddleboard yoga at GCH and it was a lot of fun! I am looking to take more when I'm back at the end of March, and I called the spa and asked when the schedule is released. They told me it is entirely dependent on when Disneyland wants to let them know -- which can be a month out or...
I have taken a Lyft/Uber from IAH or Houston to Galveston twice. I can't remember the cost from IAH, but we did an UberXL and I imagine it was close to $100. When we did a Uber from a hotel in Houston to Galveston a couple of weeks ago, I think it was around $60.
Hi There!
I keep getting emails from Disneyland that say Resort Hotel guests get priority dining reservations, but is there a separate place online or on the app to make these reservations? Or do we just log-in and the website/app will recognize we're staying on property.
Thanks!
There is usually a rep from GoGi Wines that will do a tasting/seminar every year. As far as I recall, last year was the first time Kurt Russell hosted a dinner. But the lineup should be announced in January.

Disneyland Resort Announces Event Dates and More for 2024
On December 4, 2023, Disney Parks Blog announced that the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will be back in 2024 and run from Friday, March 1 to Monday, April 22...
Last year, Disney announced the dates on Monday, November 21, with other details released throughout December, January, and February.
Here is a link to last year's superthread...
I really hope the mods step in here and shut this thread down. Seems to be a lot of anti-LGBTQ trolling under the guise of free speech and protecting the children.
Even though I woke up after the announcement (I'm in SF), I was still able to book the Sheraton Park Hotel! I missed 2022, so happy to be going back in 2024.
The Wonder is only in drydock for 2 weeks, so I doubt we will see any major changes (although I'm sailing in March 2024, so fingers crossed). I think we see major venue changes when the drydock is closer to 5-6 weeks.
I recommend paying the $9 for a *********** subscription to get text messages (I don't work for them, I'm just a fan). So many people cancel 24-48 hours before, that I have always been able to get the time and spot I wanted the day before/day of.
