Extra, Extra Magic

Il be at Disney Nov 4-10. Any chance these get extended? Hoping so, 6am is perfect for us, would be amazing if it gets extended .
 


Ah yes that is substantial.
 
Now hopefully they do EMH at the three parks at the same time for peak time around Christmas. If they did EMH like this at all the parks around Christmas it would definitely spread the crowds better. I know people arrived at 5am when Magic Kingdom opened at 6am in at Christmas Day. People will probably have to do the same for DHS during these EEMHs.
 
Wow .. 6-9 am EMH for two months? That's going to be crazy to try and get to with little kids, but may be worth it!

Or maybe worth it to just go and do Toy Story Land and skip Galaxy's Edge ..... .nah!

Nov 3rd is Wine and Dine half marathon that goes through DHS. Thus why it ends on Nov 2nd. I can see them maybe adding it back in once the transformation from Halloween to Holidays is complete.
 
We have a trip plan for opening day and Thanksgiving week, do you think there will be extra magic hours for Thanksgiving week? Normally it’s pretty crowded, we don’t mind the crowds.
 
glad to hear they're adding vs taking away. Happy for everyone, but sure wish they had some extra extra love for us night owls.....nightime EMH is the only thing I'll ever do. Hope that doesn't go away completely.

There's not a force strong enough in the galaxy to get me up that early on vacation.:snail:

Exactly, those of us from the West coast would appreciate it. We aren't night owls here, but Midnight there is 9 PM to us and 6 AM feels like 3 AM.
 
And yet our friends from across the Pond are overjoyed at the early hours. Can’t please everyone!

I admit, I wish it was PM hours because we are Night Owls. But we are getting up early to do DHS on the first EEMH. I’m just glad we don’t rope drop any of the other parks anymore. The new 7am starts don’t affect us but I do have empathy for those it does.

What is the half marathon? Is that one day? I plan on going to DHS on Wednesday which would be the 6th.

Sure they can, offer both morning and evening EMH every day.

Or just rotate between early and late to please everyone??? I'm in same time zone as Disney, but there's no way I want to wake up at 4:30am like I'm going to work.

I honestly don’t know how they could do PM EMH at DHS and get that area cleared of non resort guests to make it a true advantage. I know they had a separate EMH line for Pandora but this is a much bigger thing than Pandora. IMO, even with 10pm closings, that area of the park won’t be empty until well after midnight.

There are always ways to accomplish this, they could even say EMH doesn't include SWGE until two hours after park closing or they could say that SWGE closes to non resort guests two hours prior to park closing.

Revamp Fantasmic! To make it an amazing show with new special effects and run one show at park closing time. Do the same for the Fireworks.

No perfect solution there, but things could be done.
