Thank you so much....would it be better to walk over to OPR from Jamaica to get on a bus faster or should we just stay put. I only ask because one morning we saw three AK buses leave the area before one came to the Jamaica bus stop.

We just got back. Jamaica was the second last stop for both pickup and drop off

Yes, the bridge is open. And those 2 locations are awesome. However, with a Water View room booked, some of the buildings in Martinique and Barbados are even better.

Anytime from the day you book up until 4-5 days out. When within that time frame makes zero difference.

Thank you! I don’t have a preferred room booked so assumed perhaps wrongly that Martinique and Barbados were off limits. I will look into if they have any water view fifth sleeper non preferred rooms. Thanks again!

Barbados and Martinique each have Preferred, King and Water View rooms. And some of the Preferred and Water View rooms in those locations do have the 5th sleeper.

We always got the bus from OPR as we always had breakfast at Centretown before heading to the bus stop.
The phone app was pretty accurate in showing the wait time for buses, so you could use that to see when a bus is due at both OPR and Jamaica.

How are you able to check the times for OPR and Jamica?

Unless you're going to OPR for breakfast, I sure wouldn't walk over there just to catch a bus. That would be a waste of steps.
 
From CBR which villages are going to be closer to the gondola stations? I'm just thinking ahead :)

Jamaica will be closest to the CBR Station and Aruba will be closest to the DRR Station.

Also "close" to the CBR Station will be Trinidad and Aruba and "close" to the DRR Station will be Jamaica and Martinique.

It will depend on WHERE in each Island your room is located in these Islands as to exactly how close you are to the Stations.:)
 
Excited that we just booked our second trip to CBR. My husband has never stayed anywhere except for Fort Wilderness in our camper. We are going March 28-April 3rd for our 25th Anniversary. I'm really looking forward to it.

Quick question about the pools, does anyone know what the hours generally are during this time? Mostly we want to relax in the hot tub at night.
 
Hi all, been to WDW many times at various resorts, this will be our first time at CBR. What would be a recommended room request building for us, as we will be in a standard 5th sleeper. We will have a car so no need to be close to bus stop, but would like to be as close to main pool/eatery etc. Thanks in advance!

Jamaica 45 and Aruba 51 are both about a 3-4 minute stroll across the bridge to OPR and the Main Feature Pool.
