I love credit cards so much! v6.0 - 2023 (see first page for add'l details)

I got a boatload of Chewy flash offers. 5 in total. I was happy to find one on a CIU for a few extra UR's.

Also received a 20% off CVS flash deal up to $8 = Disney gift card, and a 20% flash deal at Jimmy John's. That will get wasted.

@Crazed4DisneyinSC - thanks for the heads up!
Wah, I only got one Chewy offer, the day after my dogs $130 bag of dog food was delivered. Guess I am going to buy a gift card. Would have loved a couple more.
Same place. Good for a shorter time period but for 20% which is better than 5, 10,15%. These are good until Nov 18th. Last year we got Kohl's, and a few others. Plus it says 'flash deal'.
That Kohls deal last year was great!

United changed our flight to SFO for next May before we fly to Japan. We booked with points with our CSR and were supposed to be leaving Orlando at 8 am. They changed us to a 7 am flight and didn’t mention that there’s a 33 minute layover in LAX (it showed as a nonstop flight on chase). Dh called and the rep said United was pushing really hard not to refund our points but eventually did. Our only decent option is flying at 6 am now 😕

You may want to sleep at the airport.

Not sure if it was posted here already, but I got an Amex offer for NCL today. Of course, I'm waiting for Celebrity, not NCL.

Thanks for the heads up!

We are actually leaving on a NCL Cruise in about 2 weeks.

I actually checked the AMEX website right before final payment and no offers.

I checked after I saw your post and we have the NCL offer on 2 of our cards. I have changed the card for on board incidentals to the AMEX. Hopefully, our gratuities and NCL excursions will push us over $1000. If not, I guess I can always purchase one of those certificates for future cruises on board.

Getting ready to do another round of Go Puff orders. Going to have my BF open an account. I have 9 cards, he has 3, and I think my mom has 1. So we'll try for 14 orders. I'll place them to pick up tomorrow when my daughter has her consult appt at UM. We should be able to get 10 orders for $20 free, and 4 orders of $10 free. I think I'm going to order at least 4 air tags this go around. I heard the go puff credits end in Dec. I wish I would have found the pick up loophole sooner :( I can't instacart as there aren't any good pick up options nearby. I think I'm going to stock up on toilet paper, cat litter, and some other random items, LOL.

I messaged yesterday to get my new CIU overnighted. I leave for Vegas on Saturday. I hope I get the card ASAP. I applied last week, but figured I'd see if the card came w/o expediting. Maybe the original will be there tonight. I just checked and I'm $97 away from hitting the spend on my hilton card. So I'm good there on getting the FNC. And I'm pretty sure I'm about to hit the spend on my Marriott. So time to hit the CIU hard, and get those 90k URs.
I wish I could get the GoPuff pickup thing to work. Any tricks to finding an address that will generate a pickup option?

I think you use uber eats to find the pick up locations. Then I just put in my location as somwhere close to the pick up. I just honestly picked a business near by, LOL.

For our flight to SFO it would be 220k URs for first class vs 80k URs economy+. This is with United. It’s a 6 hour flight for us. Is first class on a domestic plane really worth that much more URs? It’s only one way too

No. Not a chance. To me at least.

Also, I agree, take some of those URs and stay at the Hyatt MCO the night before. Then you can just role downstairs for your flight.

We only live an hour away so I’m not sure we would stay the night. We normally fly out of Sanford which is also an hour away and have woken at 3-4 am before to do a flight. We all seem to sleep better in our own beds. I know MCO is different than Sanford though. I always get a terrible sleep in hotels

We only live an hour away so I’m not sure if we’ll stay the night. We’re still deciding. We all sleep really badly in hotels so usually choose to wake early and sleep at home in our own beds then drive over.
Yes, I know. I was thinking more in terms of shortening your whole travel day since your child is young and it's a 6 hour plane ride on United.

But if you can't rest at night in the hotel then it's probably not for you.

Will 'no rest in the hotel' be a continuing trend for the entire trip?

I completely understand that if your child won't settle down easily at night. I do remember that you packed black out curtains for Germany, I think it was.

We’re okay once we settle in somewhere and stay for awhile but doing one night usually ends up with all of us sleeping badly. We may end up deciding to stay but I’m not sure yet. We’ll probably take one or two of the blackout curtains with us

It sounds like you won't be sleeping much that night either way, but friends who live in Orlando have said parking is pretty bad at the airport, so you'll need to factor that in, plus the hour drive plus security which seems to always be crazy (unless you -hopefully-have both clear+TSA precheck) since MCO is like amateur hour all the time. I shudder to do the airport math for a 6 am flight but even with carry on only it's looking pretty early...good luck with whatever you decide.

Not to me. I'd book economy and pay for extra legroom seats.

If you end up overnighting at MCO at least they have the Hyatt MCO right there in the terminal.

We’ll be renting a car to drop off at the airport so we won’t have to deal with parking at least. We have TSA precheck so that should save some time too. It’ll be early no matter what. I’m hoping that means we can get a nap in once we get to SFO and can try to adjust to that time before flying to Tokyo
