It's become one of my favorites! Watched it twice while it was in theaters.

Hit the proverbial wall at Universal Japan today. Much more crowded than I expected for their 2nd lowest cost ticket. Had 10am express entry for Mario and all the games to maybe win a key were 10 to 15 min not that they are listed. And in the sun. Rode yoshi wirhy express pass, hit some blocks and played one unsuccessful key game. They didn't explain it and apparently what I read online was opposite of what was expected.

I'd usedy jaws ep before going into Mario. I gave up on Mario when it was just too much. Would have been better to try and rope drop or maybe do after dark since at least the sun is gone then.

Was going to use my minions mayhem ep but the ep line was 40 vs standby at 70. Shorter but if I'm paying I expect way less than 40 min esp for a ride I've done before.

I wandered the shops, bought a Halloween snoopy and left after about 3 hours. No regrets but I hope FL puts the lines in shade with fans or inside and limits the number of people inside. There was just too many.

Having boujee afternoon tea, really hot chocolate, in the lounge. Happy to be going back to tokyo tomorrow as that means sumo, baseball and my flight home Sunday. Trip was far too long to be away from my dog and my bed. The beds have gotten progressively harder since the first at Tokyo Station this Conrad Osaka being the worst. I hope the Andaz doesn't top them. Can't argue with the view here though.

I like it except for the bed and that it's more biz people than vacay. They also seem to assume you have money because you are staying here and maybe more pay cash than points. The Hilton is also a bit closer to Osaka station. I think I could have asked for some padding for the bed too, I just didn't want to deal with that

Well you inspired me to send off my own SM to Chase. I signed up for a CIU on June 26th. 75k bonus posted last month. I figure I have nothing to lose by asking for a match to the 90k offer.

I asked Chase for the 90k match on the CIC I opened at the end of June. I wasn't going to, but I'm just shy of meeting the spend and figured it was worth a shot. Their initial response was that they'd review my request and let me know in 2-3 days. I thought for sure they'd come back and say no, but they said yes!

This is what it looks like when I'm logged into Hilton under the Account<Activity section. Mine specifically says 150k Welcome Bonus and 1 Free Night Reward alongside the date it posted.

Thank you for the detailed screenshots. I have the 150K and 1 FN in my account activity, but no cert in my home page. I called Hilton back and got a better agent. He's submitting a ticket for another team to research it because he could also see the FN earned in the activity.

Here's my experience:
App'd and approved July 19
Met Spend August 2
Received email from Hilton Honors on Sunday, August 6.

The email gives you these instructions for booking:
1. Call 1 800 446 6677
2. Have your HH number ready - xxxxxxx
3. Be prepared to give your Cert # - it provides the last 4 and says you can view it in your HH account dashboard. This is the first HH FNC for me and I can only see those last 4 even in my account.

I would search to see if the email came. No email and nothing in your HHonors account, then looks like you may have to call Amex, especially since you received the points.

You just made me curious enough to go look at all of that ....how do you use it for booking if you only see the last 4? (even on my acct page)

You have to call Hilton to use FNC for booking. They can see the full #

I have been banking on the pattern holding or I'll have to scramble to figure something out! Maybe I should try the the fee-free MasterCards, I just worry they may not work as well as the Visas for, say, paying tuition or our car loan, etc.

Somewhere else they refer to the 4 numbers as a code, so I'm assuming that's all you need.

They were picky when I tried 2 years ago. This year, I added my DDs name to the reservation no problem. Used virtual key/login on the app to avoid any issues.

Yep, the pattern I've observed is: Staples MCGC > Staples VGC > ODOM MCGC > ODOM VGC, repeat from the beginning. The problem for me is that Staples never has the VGC in stock.

I like when the Chase ODOM offers stack with the store promotions, especially if it's on an Ink Cash, but I'll also use it on the Hyatt cards to help reach the $15K FNC (personal card) and elite night credits. $600 for $587.85 minus the Chase offer of usually 5% (sometimes 10% but then it's on a card where I'm not trying to reach some spending goal).

had P2 refer me for CIP last night which got approved with 5k CL!

I havee 4800 in property taxes to pay10/15. and another $4800 due 11/10. If I add it to my paypal account how do I use Paypal to pay the property taxes? when I go online to my twp site to pay online, there's a 3rd party with a fee to use a CC and a small fee for ACH. Do I link to Paypal as a checking but since there's only $200 in there they charge my cc?

I'm in this hell right now. I've used the online service before. But currently my payment is posted and no one has any idea where the payment is! But normally I drain my paypal account of money, and then use the credit card I want to pay my bill.

I would maybe send a small amount to make sure it works and you're not stuck like I am right now. My taxes are due today and I have no idea WHAT I'm going to do. UGH.

I feel like we normally know by now, right? I missed last month on the Visa because of vacation, so I was really hoping to see them, too. I know the MCGC don't work for paying Target or Lowe's credit card at customer service via debit...

ETA @FoxC63 just posted it for next week on the gift card thread. I should have looked there first! For whatever reason, the Staples site directly isn't letting me see the next week ad preview, only current week.
