We passed the same day, same title company and was told today that we wouldn't close till May 26th....I hope that was a typo because I was hoping and praying for a miracle for summer use

They told me my projected closing date is 6/2. That just seems so far away considering I passed ROFR on 4/4

Unless a seller already stated they have a "cannot close until" date on the listing, or had it added into the details of your contract, DVCRM/*** uses the 60 day mark as a closing date. For me, my 60 day mark was May 22, but I closed this week. So they're being conservative, but if I were to guess, it'd happen sooner unless already otherwise stipulated.

That is most likely the date on your contract and the last date the contract can close.

If everything is in before then, they will close it earlier.

How long after a deed is recorded does it become viewable online? I got an email it was recorded Tuesday but I can’t find it on the comptroller website. I’ve tried all variations and combinations I can think of.

Ours closed on Tuesday as well, and I saw it was recorded on Thursday afternoon.

I don’t know the answer to this as VDH will be my first CA contract but for what it’s worth, I’ve always gotten the deeds in the mail way after my points are already loaded into my membership.

Was told my closing is going to be 4/25, do I have to do anything..be on phone, etc? Or do they just do the closing behind the scenes & just let me know when it’s complete? I’m not really getting any updates except when I call which is about every 3-4 days. I’m trying really hard not to be a PITA coz I know they’re busy..but really want to know what’s going on, lol

My title agent reached back out to me, apparently one of the certificates from the seller wasnt legible and had to be rescanned. Deed scheduled to be recorded Monday now.
