Thank you everyone for continuing to post links. Just a reminder that for both broker and title company, a link is provided, or leave it blank.

There is no need say “blocked” because if you add the link that will be evident.

I had the same title company/representative for our Aulani resale and I liked her but yeah.. they took the full amount of time to close lol. Disney on the other hand actually was pretty fast about it, they made the membership in about a week for me in the new UY and loaded the points the following day without me bugging them about it.

Update: Contract still was not showing in account so I looked into it and noticed that a corrected deed was just recorded on 4/10. Looks like the signature page was not the right one on the first deed that the title company sent to be recorded. I suppose that means my wait to get my points will be a little longer? Hopefully not too long...

Oh dear. Our contract states the closing should occur within 120 days of effective date, which will take us to about 10 days before our banking deadline. Which we were hoping to do with the 2022 points, as we likely won't be able to use them before they expire. If it gets to that point, I wonder if Disney will be gracious enough to hustle the membership (new member) and loading of points?

Has anyone had experience with seller from Japan? Waiting on closing date but title company said the seller has to make appointment with the US embassy to get notarized. Does anyone know how long that takes?

Oh yikes.. yeah.. First American completes their stuff based on what needs to be done next, not based on how early you get your closing docs back and etc. I hope it doesn't take too long for you.

Well that’s disappointing, but not surprising. I tend to be very prompt with most things, I can’t expect everyone to operate the same way. I’ve been trying to scan the forum for recent transactions, but Aulani paired with First American seems to be few and far between.

I'm still waiting on two others to finalize, but this one is by far the fastest. My slowest is currently on day 72 and likely has at least another week before the contract shows on my account.

Did you have to call to have your points loaded or did Disney really add the points in one day on their own?!

Delayed closing? Did the seller have a trip planned? That should have been clearly outlined.

I think closing on Aulani just takes longer because it takes longer to close in Hawaii for whatever reason 🤷‍♀️. I’ve noticed California (VGC) takes longer as well, but Hawaii seems to take the longest.
