Those aren’t pools. They are small pots of people soupNo. Plenty of pools on the ships. The ocean and private beaches are what I look forward to.
They're much less likely to be people soup on island day, though. Those aren’t pools. They are small pots of people soup
If this is because of mobility issues, check and see if they might have "beach wheelchairs" several years ago, I broke my foot prior to a family vacation to Hawaii.. at a popular snorkel beach they had these cool wheelchairs with super big wheel that my family pushed me around the beach in, including into the water! Once I was in the water I was fine, and when I wanted to get out I just paddled close, they pulled the wheelchair next to me I got in and took me to my beach umbrella.I can’t walk on sand or into/out of ocean. So, I am very disappointed. I have stayed on the ship and do use that adult pool, but I was hoping to be able to enjoy the new private island.
Yeah, those darn laws of physics limit how big pools can be on a ship. Those aren’t pools. They are small pots of people soup
Yes it is due to mobility issues, and yes, there are wheel chairs that go on sand on CC. I always thought they would be very difficult to push. Yet, your family was able to help you. Mmm, and the wheelchair was able to in the water. I definitely will look into it. Next CC stop for me will be in September. DH is 78, so it may not work for us, but maybe it will!If this is because of mobility issues, check and see if they might have "beach wheelchairs" several years ago, I broke my foot prior to a family vacation to Hawaii.. at a popular snorkel beach they had these cool wheelchairs with super big wheel that my family pushed me around the beach in, including into the water! Since I don't use mobility aids on a regular basis, I don't know if Castaway or new place will have something similar, but they should! Maybe start asking now, and they might, to be more inclusive.
To be fair, that’s what Castaway feels like to me. It’s never really been my thing. I wish they had gone with a plan that is notably different than Castaway so we’d have real choices, but this looks mostly like a clone of Castaway with a different layout and different design language. This island looks so boring, sheesh. Looks like just a bunch of upcharge cabanas and some shade sails. Lame.
Wow. I just love the Gilligan's Island feel. I can do waterslides at home. I can't do a deserted island at home. The lack of waterslides is a much bigger problem.
The new Disney cruise line's private island has a lovely tropical paradise sea it's a dream to be in paradise. Keep following Disney cruise line social media pages because they might show you a picture of the swimming pool and hopefully they have a swimming pool at the new private island.Does anyone else?
I wish the same thing. Would have liked a bit more to do, like some slides (or at least an area with a few slides!)To be fair, that’s what Castaway feels like to me. It’s never really been my thing.
