Possibly, but it's not like she'd have to know who her parents were to be told she has a connection to the Force. She could have still been trained in that regard.

Bail knew about Anakin and Padme. He knew Anakin was Vader and the harms of the dark side. I think they were scared that Vader could sense a trained force sensitive.

I actually think if she lived it would only have had minimal affect on Anakin. When he became Vader, he chose power (due to himself feeling controlled by the Jedi council) instead of Padme’s love (which she was willing to give up money and politics for him). So if she lived it would not hurt the story, only change how we get to the same ending.

Padme didn't die from childbirth. There is a fan theory that Anakin drained her life force via the dark side, apparently without knowing he was doing it. he later understood that Palpatine screwed him over, but he was too far gone by then to care.

This is accurate. It wasn't the birth, it was a combination of her injuries and Anakin's betrayal - it gets a little meta when the Force is involved.

In the new Disney Plus Obi Wan series, maybe Natalie Portman could come back as a force ghost as a onetime cameo with some Disney logic loophole. I do hope Kiera Knightly will guest star as Sabe in the series. She is technically alive after episode 3 (as mentioned in my other thread) and it would be cool if she interacted with the twins in some way.

In TESB, after Luke leaves Dagobah to go to Cloud City and rescue the others, doesn't Obi Wan tell Yoda "He's our only hope" and Yoda says "No, there is another" (paraphrasing). Shouldn't Obi Wan know about Leia since he was at the birth?

True, though did Lucas even know at the time that Obi was at the birth? Remember in TESB, Luke and Leia were kissing before we knew they were siblings.
I just googled, one source says Lucas didn't make them twin siblings until after TESB had wrapped.

Now if George RR Martin had written the movies, he probably would have told the audience up front that Luke and Leia were siblings and had them pawing at each other throughout the whole trilogy.

Anything's possible. As I mentioned in a past thread, Dexter Jettster and a now reformed Death Sticks guy could even return. Right there with new characters Jibb Jibb McJoJo, Ronnie Poobula, Steve, RXTV-D4U, etc.

I hope the Padme book series gets made into a Disney+ series! And I hope one day the ol "oh noooo she died from a broken heaartt" gets fixed and we get some canon clarity on what really happened (Anakin/Palpatine dark side shenanigans).

Yoda and Obi wan could have found a way to mask their force abilities. Luke and Leia could have been raised in a secret remote area on Naboo and I’m honestly convinced Vader or the Emperor wouldn’t have found them.
