WandaVision SPOILERS thread

How young is Wanda? As a child, her family was watching American shows on DVD. When the PS2 was introduced in 2000 it was the cheapest DVD player you could buy (which would seem out of the range of a family with such a modest apartment)

her dad sold dvds. He had to make sure they worked before he went out and sold them.

That episode was a tearjerker. I'm sad we didn't get to see what happened to Rambeau but it does seem to put the Mephisto rumors to rest.

This is some random Eastern European country. He's selling possibly bootleg DVDs and the player is some generic brand that could have been pretty cheap back around the time. The one used is actually a Mintek DVD 2110, which is an off brand owned a Chinese company. It's probably just a stand-in though. The disc clearly says NTSC.

Still possible, but more likely he factors into Doctor Strange 2.

Sad that Pietro was a construct, but it was brilliant casting, and would love for Peters to continue as Quicksilver if/when the MCU incorporates mutants into the universe.

Not necessarily. In episode 8 the deed to the property in Westview just sort of appeared in the front passenger seat of Wanda's car. There have been all sorts of theories as to who might have placed it there. I suppose it could have been Wanda, but she never opened it before. Or perhaps that she saw it for the first time and someone else placed it there.

I don’t think it just shows up. It’s opened on her seat and she planned to go there after her business at sword. You don’t keep things on your passenger seat?

How it got there is open ended. I don't recall it ever being seen before. That's part of the mystery.

Gotcha. I just figured Vision had left it to her be he died. He wrote a message on it. I think they were planning a life together before the snap.

Is it a question of how the note physically got to her? Like where was it kept through all the destruction of the headquarters? I didn’t think too much into it.

hm. Ok. I rewatched and it didn’t suddenly appear on the seat. But when I watched through the first time, it seemed like that. Maybe we’ll get answers on Friday :)

It just hasn't been explained how she came to get it. Perhaps it might have been placed there while she was in there. Maybe she received it after being reintegrated. Perhaps it was something created by someone else pulling the strings. Nothing ever is as it seems.

Well, I hate to break it to you but I don't know that there are plans to even do more after this run. These Marvel shows aren't being treated as "ongoing" and should be one-and-done seasons. That can always change of course.

When you have a show that is so popular it crashes your streaming platform on episode debut day, wouldn't the prudent thing to do be to give it a second season?

(Question not directed at you @BrianL, directed at Disney+!)

It might not be a case of whether they want to or not, but it has to make sense from a story standpoint. This series is leading into a couple movies and we don't know how it actually ends itself yet. It might not really be possible to do a second season. They can do another show with Wanda or others characters but it might be too different to really call it WandaVision season 2.

I think they consider any future Marvel shows to be another season and they will likely all get the viewers. That said, Kevin Feige did recently say he wouldn't rule anything out. It wasn't planned to continue, but based on reaction, they could come back around to it too.

Insiders confirmed that Quiksilver’s hair in the Halloween episode was patterned after Wolverine.
