• Early Theme Park Entry: We know how much guests enjoy extra park time, so coming later this year as part of our 50th anniversary celebration, Disney Resort hotel guests and guests of other select hotels will be able to enjoy more fun with 30-minute early entry to ANY theme park, EVERY day. It’ll be a great way to get a jump start on your Disney day, no matter the day! As a reminder, the Extra Magic Hours benefit was suspended when Walt Disney World Resort reopened last summer, and as we continue to manage attendance with health and safety top of mind, Extra Magic Hours will not return. The new early theme park entry benefit helps us better spread visitation across all four theme parks, while providing added flexibility by giving guests extra early park time on each day of their vacation and in the park of their choosing. Please note that guests need valid admission and a park reservation made via the Disney Park Pass system to enter a theme park.

No Magical Express in 2022, No Extra Magic Hours (including the evening hours), They already charge to park at resorts, no Fast Passes (if those even come back) no package delivery. Whats next fee to take Disney busses, boats and Skyliner? Not sure what the perks are for staying on Property anymore..........

The benefit now is that there is no such thing as rope dropping a park unless you stay on property.

How would they even separate on-site from off-site @ rope-drop? Also, "on-site" had become pretty loosely defined pre-COVID with all the "partner" properties they were adding. 3o minutes - MAN is that meaningless...

I would certainly think so, yes.

The article says later this year so I'm assuming we'll get info in a couple of months, but that's what they did for emh, hold off site at the tapstiles

Haven't the parks already been opening up earlier than the posted opening time? Also, I doubt that they will take the trouble to find out who's eligible and who isn't. Disney has already added so many other hotels in for whatever "perks" they were offering earlier. Replace morning and evening EMH's with 30 min morning entry? No, just another way of charging for more hard ticket extra hours in the park! Watch those come back. Nothing to do with safety, crowds, social distancing, etc. so so sad

How will they know who is offsite?

The same way they did for morning EMH. Onsite guests' hotels are linked to their MDE account which can be read via ticket card or Magic Band, so the main entrance tapstiles can be set to only allow onsite guests through, and offsite guests will have to wait until the posted opening time.

I like the idea of the early entry being at every park, every day (although an hour would be so much better than 30 minutes). EMH were confusing and hard to keep track of. We'll have to see logistically how well it works. Hopefully this is in place before spring break!

Ironic that they're calling it "early entry", which is the same term Universal uses. But at least Universal offers an hour of early entry.
