Our Amsterdam/Spain trip is booked. Well air there and back + hotels. I still need to book air transfer from AMS to BNC and Eurail passes, but I won’t do that until closer to travel in case we have to cancel the trip. Everything we booked is refundable, apartment prices have been very reasonable. We do have some Hyatt and Marriott rooms booked, but I may cancel those and book apartments on the Chase portal.

I've been using my CF card through paypal when ordering things online to get the 5x points. Looking at a couple gifts from patagonia. Since there's the possibility of returns (if they don't fit), is there an issue receiving refunds when you pay through paypal? I assume they just put it back on your paypal account and then you can use it later? Just want to be sure because I've only used paypal when I knew there was basically no possibility of returns.

Thanks!

Even better......if you are purchasing through PayPal using your CF, then return the item, the refund actually just goes automatically back to CF. I just had one last week so I know nothing has changed....

Stores used to be kind of weird about it.....not knowing how to do a return to PayPal but I think its become pretty mainstream now.

I still think it's kind of weird. I did two returns this weekend. Returned some football cleats to Dick's Sporting Goods and they let me have the refund put on any card since I'd used paypal. My WHBM refund (they didn't tell me the sweater was part wool!:( went back to paypal. But not problematic weird. You get the money back:)

Thanks! It makes sense that it would happen a lot!

Looks like Staples is offering VISA gift cards again this week. Office Max too. I hope they restocked the shelves!
Where did you see this? I was only able to get to Staples twice last week so would be happy to go a few times this week. I didn't see it in their weekly ad but maybe I missed it.

If anyone looking for a new phone has ATT, they are offering "free" upgrades to everyone. Normally it's only new customers and new lines. They did a similar offer when the iPhone 7 came out. I have 4 lines I can upgraded. I was debating if I wanted to do it (using the loyalty promo). But now it seems I can trade in my 15yo's 8Plus and get $800, so that covers the 12 she wants. The ex (we are still sharing a phone plan), might upgrade, and I'm seriously thinking about it as well. My XS is basically new, but the 12 pro would only cost me $300 if I do it now. I don't think I'll get a decent offer like that again for awhile. The bummer is, we're tied into the phones until they are paid off....ATT credits your bill monthly with these promos.

I figure, my 15yos has lasted 2 years. My XS made it 1.5 year and then Apple replaced it (IHG CC covered that). So as long as the deal w/ ATT is paid off in about 2 years, it might be worth it.

I wonder if my Staples will have any. They were 100% out last week. Grrrrr.

My staples had none at lunch time.

I need help with Citi Thank You points. I just combined DH's onto mine. So we now have 129,378 points. I want to get Disney Tickets. I know I have to call in and ask for Cruise Dept and because we have the Citi Premier Card that my points are worth 1.25. So, looking at Tickets on Disney site. (in good news you can add Park Hoppers after March 31)

I really want 7 Day PH but don't have enough points for that. So, was thinking of getting 7 Day Regular and then upgrading them at the park. But if I am figuring correctly I am short a bit. 7 Day tickets with tax for 3 is $1642.23 divided by 1.25 is $1313.78. And I have $1,293 worth. Unless you don't include tax but I very much doubt it.

So, then I was thinking of getting 6 Day tickets and adding a day and upgrading to PH. Once my tickets are in my Disney Account - can I add days on there and PH or do I have to wait to get to the park?

You can pay the difference in cash. Your points are worth $1617, so you'd pay $25.

As for upgrading your tickets, I can share how it worked for me for Delta Vacations WDW tickets. I don't know if things will be the same. I wanted to go from flex to dated and add days. There was an option online to upgrade once I linked my tickets, but I could never get it to work (errored out). I eventually got it upgraded by calling, but had to try different numbers. The one that worked for me was the internet help desk at 407-939-7765, they transferred me to the right ticketing department.

Thanks. I didn't know that I could pay the difference in cash. Then I can just get what I need. That is awesome. Thanks so much!!

Yes on DOC. I was able to hit a few Staples and Office Depots today. All had cards in stock. Bummer though, Staples would only sell me 1 card. Last week was a limit of 5.

The Staples Visa GC thing... is the "deal" that they're offering them for no fee? (Soonest I'll be able to get to a store is Thursday and even that's unlikely)
