you should check your battery health. if its less than 80%, its time to get a battery change. once u do that, it should be like brand new again.

Just checking, but will the end of the month be > 30 days since you last applied? If not, you might be setting yourself up for another denial and even worse, reset your 30 day waiting clock again. I'd highly recommend waiting 30 days after a failed biz application. You used to be able to check this by calling the status line to see if the failed app had fallen off the system, but of course you can't do that now in many cases since the status app isn't registering some of these applications.

It's only a few days and I think I know the answer but for the 30 days do I go by the date on the denial letter, not the date of application? For example I applied 9/21, denial letter dated 9/24. So I'm good to apply 10/25, which is day 31 after 9/24?

I miss the touch ID. It's great except where it's so cold you need gloves (for me that's pretty much only when we travel far North). The face ID is a pain now that I have a mask on at times. I didn't think I'd like it as much as the Touch ID and I don't. My laptop and iPad have Touch ID and it's so nice.

I agree! Have it on my iPad and it made me miss it even more. I think I liked it better even before the mask, but now I kinda hate face id.

I just "upgraded" from a 5 to a 7 that my friend's daughter was selling. I was happy that I'd still have the touch ID. Although in Wisconsin sometimes it seems like I wear gloves 6 months a year

30 days from application date UNLESS you went through recon which could possibly reset the date. I’m fuzzy on that detail (and I know that doesn’t apply in your instance anyways).

yeah, i got an battery error on my iPhone 6 not too long ago... something about battery couldnt power it as efficiently as it did before. :\
it rebooted my phone.

I don't do auto updates on my 6s for this reason...frequently it causes problems in older models. I update manually only if I have no choice.otherwise it all stays as is

Yes, just used it for the "Spend $40 on gift card, get $10 promo credit". I got the Amex email that credit had been used within 10 minutes.

Oh ok, I thought it wouldn’t work on amazon gift cards. I used a different card for the $40 amazon gift card offer. At least I know I can use it to buy amazon gift cards if I don’t find something else before it expires.

I think you've done all that you can, after that it's just luck. I'm in the same boat and haven't been targeted for a long time.

I'm thinking about the new Marriott offer buy am having trouble figuring out where I'd use the 5 free nights. I know that they can sometimes be used at a category 6, but aside from putting in specific dates and seeing what comes up for how many points it'll cost is there a way to figure out when they can be used at a cat 6 and when they can't? For example Swan or Dolphin, is there an easy way to figure out what dates would fall under 50,000?

For those wanting to hang onto the touch ID....the SE still has it. Honestly prior to masks, I loved the face ID. That was actually what failed on my XS and got me the new phone in June. Funny because now it fails since I have to wear a mask...GRRRR
