Has anyone else not gotten their refund or reduction of amount due? We received the original email about the 35% off the room and removal of the dining plan. We have Free QS and upgrade to regular Dining Plan. Received the email about 10 days ago and patiently (impatiently?) waiting for our package price to change. We have not paid in full.

Your not alone. So far we have received the 35% off email but nothing else. MDE still shows our full amount due as well as the free dining plan.

Our trip starts 7/31. I read of others with similar dates and later dates getting their refunds. Just trying to make sense of what order they are going through each reservation. We booked our trip last August on Bounce back. CM on chat told me "very soon" to receive the updated confirmation.

I'm booked 7/27. I'm worried there won't be places to get moved for later dates by the time they work through people...*sigh*

Our dates are 12/22-1/2. Our free dining package changed a couple days ago. It appears it's 35% off the room - not sure, I feel like it should be cheaper, but I'm sure I have the taxes all wrong.

Me too but I'm trying to be paitient and hope that things will open up by the time our date rolls around. Rumors says we will get news this week...its almost 30 days until park opening.
 
Changed my vote from "no email or offer received" to "Received email for 35% off current stay" which is August 24 at Contemporary rescheduled from March 30 with the free dining. They are supposed to be checking to make sure the numbers are correct after removing dining and adding the discount to the room
 


Zip. No offer. Just had all dining ADRs cancelled last week. Will wait a few weeks to see if any guest recovery but then will cancel to get my deposit back. Canadian guest so guessing WDW has decided with borders closed we weren't flying in anyway so not bothered to communicate. Another one of the 'hope you cancel we can't take you' guests. This will be my 2nd year not vacationing at WDW. I had been more than 10 yrs in a row before. Have become a much savvier WDW guest. Will watch, wait and see what happens next year before thinking about booking.

All 3 of my Free Dining Bouncebacks have been modified (July, September, December) to remove the dining plan and apply the 35% off. The offer code is now Recovery20. I would have imagined they are done with the July modifications. I would try to call. If you were booked at a value, the 35% would not make a huge dent, but you should see it go down a little and the code changed.

Yeah we are expecting a reduction from the upgrade to regular dining plus 35% off of our Pop room.

They said they are not necessarily working on them by date but couldn't tell me what order they are working in. I know they are modifying the reservations before July 4th but that's about it. I'll continue to wait and hope we get more info by the end of the next week.
 
I haven’t heard anything either, not since the email on 5/29, and the free dining is still listed on the app. Our trip was scheduled for 7/7, so we’re going to cancel, but when I tried to call, but the wait time was over 45 minutes.

I asked via the online chat on the WDW site if there was a way to cancel online (the only option listed under our reservation is to call) and they at first told me they could put us in the queue to get a call back when an agent was available, but then said they were currently only dealing with arrivals through 7/4 at the time (they apologized for the confusion). Then they recommended that I should try calling back after today since we’re now officially a month away from our lost trip.

So I’ll give it another try tomorrow. Just want to get it over with at this point.
 
We are 7/27-8/1 at Pop.
Had recovery free dining & 2 park days tix (one of us has AP also)
Received email reducing room 35%.
Haven’t found out new price but have an idea.
Will go unless we can’t afford upgrade if we have to move and pay but I really need the magic and it’s for my 50th so we’ll probably make it work.
My kid is so happy - no fireworks, no crowds, and only two park days. That’s why this is ideal time for us.
 
I called in this morning, the message still says they can't modify. I did get a CM. Asked if I can modify an early July ressie she said they are accepting up until July 4th. Maybe someone can check if they have July 4th. I am the 7th and was told I would be in the next batch check in a few days.

But yesterday, I got an email about my upcoming reservation and the email asked me to choose one of three options, (1) I plan to come, (2) I plan to modify reservation, (3) I plan to cancel. And the email stated I have until June 12 to make my selection. So, I guess Disney sent these out to all people listed with resort stays in July that were already booked to get an estimate on how many people will be there. Maybe to figure out how many resorts they need to open. It says I have to call to modify the reservation. They only listed the FW and the Disney Villa Club resorts in the details about what to expect regarding resorts. It does not say if I will have to pay for upgrade or what. It just states I need to call Disney to modify, nothing can be done online.

Yes. They will change you to an open resort for no additional charge to you. I was at ASMovies June 24-27 and they changed me to Ft. Wilderness cabins. They are very clear that you have no choice about where they move you. Take it or leave it.

If I had rescheduled to different dates it would have been rack rate. I called and spoke with a CM who offered to move me to a different resort, same dates for an upcharge. I told her I was reading online that they would move me for the same rate. She transferred me to the guest relations team who took care of changing without an upcharge. I was not given a choice of where I moved.

That is the same answer I received. My reservation is also July 7th. I am concerned that I haven’t received the 35% discount yet, my reservation still says free dining.
