I booked our trip last September for Aug 14-22 Preferred Room at Pop Century with Free Dining Bouceback and we have 6 day hoppers attached also...
Still showing "FreeDineBB Disney Resort Hotel Pkg plus Quick Service DP"
We haven't book any experiences or dining and I'm just waiting to see this change or if they change our resort...
We have until July 15 to cancel or pay in full so I'm being patient.
Things can change in a month and a half...
 
My discount has finally been applied on MDE. Now to wait on them to decide to start refunding the park hopper difference.
 


Have reservation at POR for 9/24-9/28, free dining recovery.
Received email on Saturday about dining being cancelled and 35% off. There have still been no changes in amount owed in MDE.
Has anyone had Halloween Party tickets cancelled? I hadn't bought any yet, but was planning on it. If the Halloween Party is cancelled I would like to add a third park day to my res. but not even sure that will be possible.
 
Just wanted to update:
I had booked the bounceback offer last Aug for my upcoming trip in September. I have two rooms at All-star Music and just checked this morning and my balance was adjusted to reflect the 35% off plus the cash portion of my dining plan upgrade. The saving was $1400 between both rooms with four adults. My tickets still show the parkhopper option and the Mnsshp at this time. I know there have been rumors of no parkhopping but there has been nothing official from Disney yet. I'm hopeful that parkhopping will be an option by September, but we will see. I never received ONE e-mail from Disney, it just updated automatically.

I have a July 27-August 3 trip booked with FD recovery deal and got the 35% off email, but I have yet to have the changes reflected on my account.
 
I have a Recovery Package from April (was FD but now 35% off) booked July 26 - August 4 at ASMo. I got the email about the dining plan being taken away and now my promotion and amount owed in MDE has changed (but have not recieved an email with a new confirmation). That will probably show up in a week or so.
 
We have middle of July booked also and have only received the email. Nothing else.
 
I just received an e-mail with new package details from the recovery free dining offer. For me, it was nice reduction in cost, but still not sure about canceling this early September trip with limited offerings and regulations. Also, the tickets (2 day base) were still listed as part of the package. I have other tickets that were re-assigned to me from a previous canceled stay (now good until September 2021 - would like to save for another future trip) and an AP pass. Do you think I can remove the 2 day base tickets? How will park reservations work for resort guests with APs?
I've see a few comments here that indicate that there are some of us in the same boat: have APs and wondering 1) how will park reservations work with an AP and an onsite stay and 2) whether we can drop off the tickets that we had included as part of the free dining requirement and keep the 35% off the room portion.

We don't know yet. We don't have the specifics on the reservation system and we don't know what kind of modification we will be allowed to do on our current packages, once the onsite reservations are unfrozen.

I recommend that you keep checking here and in the main COVID News thread on the TPAS board.

Package was adj to 35% off room, resulting in a loss of discount of about 1200. Would love to get rid of package PH tickets as 2 of 3 of us have APs and we would purchase new AP for the third.
 
I see several posting people here and in other groups that have mid-July stays around opening dates that haven’t had their packages updates yet. Does anyone think this has to do with Disney possibly not opening resorts, maybe making resort moves for these people or considering another option for them?
When in mid-July? If pre-July 11th, non-DVC, they may be considering cancelling them. Or it could be that they have not received an official confirmation email, but the changes have been made to MDE. I never received the email with an updated confirmation, but my changes were made in MDE.
 
Does anyone know if those of us who had the dining plan and now have the 35% off room only discount will be able to re-schedule and keep the discount? This is only our second Disney vacation and we have saved for 3 years for this trip - we are definitely going to have to reschedule for when the parks are a bit more "magical" as this is a rare treat for us and I am hoping to reschedule for Fall of 2021.
