Anyone just getting a retail GC to flip to a Disney GC? If yes best bet for stores that don’t care?

Is anyone else having issues adding their CP to SW flights? I am trying add DS and I checked and these flights are not sold out but I keep getting an error. Grrr....do I really need to call?

I can't add myself to dh's flights either. I'm getting an error. I'll give it a few days and then have dh call.

So apparently you had to pay like $65 to watch this UFC fight tonight. I took my shower, searched it on twitter... and watched it for free, LOL! And somehow I survived the 30 minutes or so of my life spent not knowing who won the fight....

We have really liked the Hyatt Coconut Plantation Residence Club in Bonita Springs. Nice lazy river and access to the Hyatt Regency pools and water slides during less busy times.

Also, on a personal note, since we’re all friends here, your thoughts and prayers would be appreciated for my family as my 90 year old grandma passed away this week. Her death wasn’t entirely unexpected as she’d had a number of health setbacks the last couple of months. Lots of family coming home for the weekend for the visiting and funeral. My son drove home (Ohio) from Nashville last night, narrowly missing the bad weather, which had me worried of course. We don’t have any major family conflicts (unusual these days!) so I expect this will be a comforting weekend of visiting, reminiscing, and mourning our loss.

It is about 1/4 mile from the HR. There is a shuttle that will transport you back and forth. The same shuttle transports to the water taxi that then brings you to private beach on Hickory Island.

I just did it, I used the offer to get 20% off for gift cards at stores that I shop at throughout the year anyways, I didn’t see any that I thought I could flip to Disney.
I had just bought a bunch of text books for my DD for college the week before I saw the offer. So, I was happy to have something else to use it on.

That’s great, I could have waited to buy her books if I knew about it earlier. This is my DDs last semester of classes too! Then she has student teaching in the fall and graduates in December. After that I will only have one left in college! Yippee!

This is such a basic question that I feel silly asking but I’ve never done it before:

I just bought our tix last for WDW next month. I know you can use old magic bands to link those tickets to, but I have no idea how. I have my MB from September and DH’s MB from November 2018. Will those still work? Can somebody point me to how to do that?

Go into you MDE account and link your new tickets there. Once you do that you will be able to make FP, etc. with your tickets. Your MB should still be active unless you deactivated them and will still work. They do have a battery but I have some older than that still work.

As long as you link your tickets to your MDE account and the MBs are assigned to you everything should work. The MBs just link to your account, not a certain ticket or reservation.

The tickets are linked to my account, but it says that I should go to the park entrance to show my ID and get my tickets (I guess they mean the cards). Will they still be linked to my MBs even though the MBs dont show up anywhere on MDE?

@DisneyMandC there should be a spot on the website under MDE called “manage magic bands and cards”. If you scroll down there you can link your magic bands using the # on the inside or they will show up if they are already linked. I have ones from a long time ago still in there!

@disfanforlife they have lowes gift cards and happy lady (BB&B) gift cards. Idk if anyone has been successful using thoss to then buy disney GC at those stores though!
