I use my instant pot, but not in the slow cook mode. I have always heard it doesn't work real well for that.

I’ve used mine in slow cook mode, seems to work as well as others. What I like is that I can brown stuff in the IP, then slow cook (or pressure). I have 3 slow cookers, one has a metal liner instead of pottery. That means you can cook stovetop with it, but it also doesn’t truly slow cook, it’s too fast. The longest it ever needs is 3-4 hours, so I can’t put it on while I’m at work but it’s ok for after I get home from work, put something in, take DS to soccer, etc.

I have been watching the weather also. We are there the 14th-18th. Looks like mostly low 70's. ( I was so hoping that we would not get the 30's they had when @wendow was there). Haley - how has the weather been at night? Ok to wear capris and sandals or does it cool down too much. Have to figure out what to pack...

I’m not seeing any 30’s in the forecast, thankfully!! The forecast for our days actually looks a teeny bit better today than it did yesterday so fingers crossed it only gets better!!

What kind do you have? I've never seen on with cast iron on the inside. Is it removable to clean it?

It's an All Clad one. I think it's cast iron. Definitely looks like that but now that I think about it it's also non stick. I've had it for years and I absolutely love it.

Approved for my BA Chase card today after a long wait. I applied 11/24 and had the 30 day message every time I called. I thought it might be delayed because of the Thanksgiving holiday so I didn't call. Today I received an email that I had a letter online about my application (that's never happened to me). HAH! I must be a pushover! DD was in a stroller at WDW last year at 5... We are going next summer and I have not decided if at 7 we are taking the stroller or not. Yes I know, but it was so nice to keep the cooler of waters in the bottom I don't want to have to carry that around all day.

We actually still used a stroller this past Aug when my youngest was a new’ish 8yo. We didn’t plan on it but our open to close touring combined with the heat did him in. He overheats super easy and was getting to where the heat was making his stomach hurt really bad so he wasn’t eating or drinking. Bad combo! After two days of him whining and us worrying he was dehydrating, I went and rented a stroller. My dh was totally against it but after that, the trip was so much better. If ds was doing okay, we’d all throw our backpacks in to give us a break. But he ended up riding a lot. I’d get a cup of ice water and pour it on his head to help cool him down. No regerts! We saw kids much older in strollers.

So you can use any of the functions. I don’t tend to use recipes that are ‘a can of this and can of that’ so I look on Pinterest a lot. My sister just Googles. Lol. Like “instant pot chicken”. One site I like for a number of things is Pinchofyum.com

Anyone have any good remedies for tail bone pain? Mine started as lower back pain two weeks ago and now it’s more just at my tail bone. I didn’t injure it (as I’ve been asked like 6 times by nurses lol). I’m pretty sure it’s just my growing body and the baby pushing on me. It hurts to sit in any position and I can’t lay on my back so there’s hardly anyway for me to be comfortable. I’ve tried heat, ice, and stretching. The heat helps the most but I can’t use it very long because of the baby. Idk if it’s just something I need to deal with or what. I have a doctor appointment in about a week and I’m for sure telling her

Haha! Yeah DD is tiny so I am hopeful she will fit in the stroller still, ours has a nice bottom part that a cooler fits in nicely. However I recall Disney recently changed to a no ice policy been meaning to find out more if its no loose ice or what, hoping we can use a zip lock of ice we can pull out easily in bag check since the rooms don't have freezers to use reusable blocks.

Wow. No, it doesn't normally work that way. I was an AU on DH's plat for 10 years and when I got my own last year they went into a new MR account.

Since you're dealing with what's probably an error (but hey, it can work in your favor) I would guess they would stay in your account but I don't think there's any way to really know. Hopefully someone with more expertise will address this one.

Yeah uhhh what you’re describing sounds impossible so I’m not sure anybody will have a qualified answer here. I’ve actually never heard of this happening ever personally. You should call...or maybe not call... I’m completely unsure of what to do in this situation.

Yeah...it's not impossible. It's all going into one account. I'm not sure I want to call. It does work in my favor to some extent. I don't want to take the chance of ruining it.
