Desserts, Drinks and Dis Meets With Jen and Joe on the Go COMPLETE! 1/2020

January plans sound awesome. I hope you all do the WS tour, I highly recommend it. It is long but so interesting and informative. I am excited to see you all again and actually spend a little more time visiting.
I didn‘t realize Melinda and Renee are going to be there in January, how fun!

I have been very lax with ADR’s for January and March. I am taking a page from Kari and not making many until we get there.

Breakfast at GG looked great though I think I'd prefer the booth seating-do you get a choice of where to sit or not really? good food and Joe's drink looked mighty tasty too. Love Gia's "dun dun duuunnnn" and dancing at the Anna and Elsa character meet. She's simply adorable! I'd forgotten half of LWTL so must revisit that someday (sooner rather than later hopefully or at least in the next year or 2). Great start to the day :thumbsup2
Yes, you can totally ask, I just forgot. I like the booth seating much better too.
Gia dancing almost had me in tears. LOL! She's so darn cute!!!

January plans sound great! Hoping all your dismeets work out :)
Yes, so far, so good!!!!

I think Melinda isn't 100% but Renee and Chad are totally on board and have reservations!!!
I have a lot of March ressies only because we are on deluxe dining...LOL!

HUGE UPDATE!!! HUGE! 😍

Joe and I will be staying at Coronado Springs in a water view room at the Gran Destino Towers. We will be there for the Festival of the Arts AND the kick-off of Flower and Garden. Woot! Woot! Wouldn't it be cool if we could make it for Food and Wine too??? Here's hoping!!!!!

Excellent! I saw that Caroline was also able to get the Annual Pass rate at Grand Destino Tower in March! Maybe you two can meet up! Might as well take advantage of those Annual Passes! Congratulations! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

We've met so many wonderful friends on the Dis Boards and it's equally wonderful to get to hang with them from time to time when our trips overlap!!!😘
Truer words could not be said 💕

This year we made it to the Festival of the Arts twice, F&G and F&W and I loved being able to do all 3! I feel so accomplished lol. So far for 2020 we'll of course be there for FotA and also plan on being there for F&W but not sure F&G is in the cards which stinks 👎

We get our Food and Wine on (Just a Little Bit)...☹ We Will Also be Posting our Next Vlog...Epcot/Food and Wine LOL!!!

After a yummy breakfast at Garden Grill and a quick ride on LWTL, it was time for our Frozen Ever After fast pass. It was awesome to be able to ride this twice in one trip!!! I know a lot of people don't think it's the best ride and it seems to break down a lot but we really like it. We also met up with Elsa and Anna and took a few pics. This is a must for us anytime we are in Epcot with Gia, as these 2 princesses are her absolute favorite right now.

Next, it was time to get our food and wine on. Unfortunately, we didn't get to do nearly as much as we wanted to. After all, this was Gia's birthday trip and she wasn't thrilled about stopping every few feet so Uncle "Goey" and Auntie "EE" could sample the fare...But, we did get to eat the 2 things I was really looking forward to trying. We first stopped at the new Alps booth and tried the Raclette cheese fondue. It's served with warm, crusty bread, pickles, and potatoes. This was heaven in my mouth. It was soooooo good!!! All the flavors worked really well together. Joe really liked it too and we are hoping it will stay on the menu next year...Then we made our way to the Spain booth and tried the charcuterie in a cone. This consisted of olives, feta cheese, and Spanish meats marinated in a light vinegarette. Wow! This blew my mind, it was so good. Joe liked it as well. At some point, I went off with Gia to get her a slushy drink and Joe got the grapefruit beer from the Germany beer cart (I can't remember what it's called as it has a very long German name). Anyway, he had this for the first time in May at the Flower and Garden Fest and we bought it quite a bit over the summer...

We were about done with Epcot at this point (not by choice). Gia wanted to go swimming back at the resort and being the wonderful auntie and uncle that we are left Epcot for the day and headed back to the resort. We got back to the room, changed into our swimsuits and made our way to the pool. We found chairs, slathered on the sunscreen and spent a few hours relaxing in the water. We also played and won a game of Bingo. As a prize, Gia picked out a little pig stuffed animal.

Next up, we dine with a princess, a few dwarfs, and an evil queen...

I feel like I always do better when I have more dining reservations booked than not enough haha something about knowing I have them and can cancel them is nice to know! Like an eating security blanket!
Some trips I like to plan out every meal and some trips I like to be more spontaneous, especially when we are hanging with friends. It's nice not to be so scheduled. But, I agree that it's better to have them than not as they can always be canceled...LOL!!!!

Ain't that the TRUTH!!! 😘

I THINK we will make all 3...We may be going in late July for my birthday and in September/October...But, more on that to come...😉

Little kids and festivals don't always go hand in hand. Sorry that you weren't able to hit a lot of the kiosks, but at least you made the ones you did go to count! Those dishes sounded amazing.

I love that Frozen ride photo!

I'm late but here! I'm having trouble getting back on the Dis regularly, but I am here trying again!

The kitten stayed for observation all afternoon, was sent home with all kinds of antibiotics and probiotics, and slowly got better. Thank goodness!!!!
Poor thing! Glad she is better!
We had an extremely smooth flight and landed in Tampa about 20 minutes early.
You deserved it after all the excitement from the kitty.
Joe's mom filled our bellies with prosciutto, Italian cheeses, and good, crunchy, Italian bread. Yum!
Yum!
We stayed up for a bit and chatted and then Joe and I showered and crawled into bed. We were exhausted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure!
This has been the third year in a row that we have taken her to Disney for her birthday and we were all pretty pumped.
Awww, how sweet!
We shared the blueberry cream cheese mousse too. Yum! This is by far one of my favorite desserts on the property and I order it EVERY SINGLE TIME we eat at Satu'li.
I have yet to eat here or try this. But I so want to try the desserts. I'm not sure about the other stuff on the menu, though people always rave about it.
From there, Joe and I decided an alcoholic beverage was in order, so we each got the Rum Blossom at Pongu Pongu.
This is my Pandora go to now that they messed up my precious margarita.
They were truly amazing and surprised Gia and let her pick out a stuffed animal, for which she was so excited. How kind is that!!!!!
Wow! How nice!

That cheese fondu sounded so good! We'll be at EPCOT in a couple of days so I'll have to tell Nathan to give it a shot. It's not one of the things we ended up trying last time. Nom!

Epcot Food and Wine Vlog...

This was such a great way to spend our last day in Epcot. We tried some delicious snacks, met a few more princesses and spent some time at the POFQ pool. OOOOOH!!!! I forgot to mention...I also showed Joe where the "secret" Viking sword is hidden as a tribute to Maelstrom!!! RIP Malestrom!!! I really liked this attraction.

Our next vlog will be entirely dedicated to Storybook Dining and will be up sometime Thursday...
