"Official" 2019 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party: Oh-So-Jolly Holiday Celebration

The part of the newer fireworks shows that makes them not viewable from everywhere in the park are the projections on the castle. So if these fireworks are supposed to be viewable in a way that the others aren't, it would have to mean the projections are visible from other sides of the castle (or on other structures?) besides the front. They wouldn't be exactly the same, but that could be a game changer for crowd control. I'm not sure I buy it though. If they had something that revolutionary why not show it off with the other fireworks show they debuted this year?

YMMV, but “no refunds” doesn’t always mean no refunds. There have been numerous reports of people getting refunds or applying the funds to a different event or ticket type. All depends on the CM you speak with. If you don’t get an answer you like, you can always hang up and try speaking with another CM.
Thanks. I might give it a shot, cause i think might prefer to add a ticket day and go to Epcot. Can’t hurt to ask

Not sure if this is possible, but could you follow the end of the 1st parade to get a spot to see the fireworks on the street versus camping out?
You can but usually cm hold people at the liberty square bridge for a couple of minutes while the parade clears the bridge and the hub.
It might be better to follow the parade up to the Christmas store and then make a right take thre bridge towards adventureland and get to ms that way

What's everyone's strategy for doing the 11pm parade after the fireworks? Do you go line up for the parade right after the fireworks? We're doing the dessert party for the fireworks with Plaza Garden viewing and I'm not sure how to get a good spot for the parade right after.

It’s definitely YMMV. We had MNSSHP party tickets. Then my daughter’s volleyball team made state and tournaments were the first part of our trip, when our Halloween party was. I spoke to at least 4 different CM’s calling to explain the situation and that she wouldn’t be there the first half of the trip. They all said the same thing- no refund. But also said the “value” of the ticket would still be in her profile and could be used towards tickets to other things. Only 2 problems with that- we already have everything we need for our upcoming trips AND the ticket disappeared from our MDE

This was updated awhile ago on Post #1, and I still haven't seen any more updates or reference to the flavors of Fanta.

Not sure if this was covered already, but when do the character greets end? specifically Jack Skellington?

I went ahead and booked a plaza viewing dessert party for the 12-17 Christmas party. I wanted the sit down one but that one is sold out.. But never done a dessert party so going to try it and see what it's about. Has anyone had any luck in being able to switch parties? Does availability usually show up closer to the day? I'll probably keep checking every day until we arrive lol.

Definitely keep checking, but the Tomorrowland Terrace version has a much smaller guest count than the Plaza Garden version, so a lot less people in the mix likely to change plans and create openings. You never know though, so that's why persistence pays off - just manage expectations a bit, in my opinion.

For the first MNSSHP I wanted the Terrace Dessert party and it was sold out, I checked the last day that people had to cancel without being charged (5 days) and was able to get 4 spots.

Also, FWIW, I always read on here that the garden is a better view than the terrace and it seems to be better liked and reviewed in general - I thought the view from the terrace was great (except you couldn't really see the Jack puppet, but to me that's a different issue and you probably couldn't see him well from the garden either), and well worth it to actually have seat and to be able to eat during the show so you could show up much later, use less party time, and still get to have the desserts and guaranteed spot. I wouldn't care as much for a regular HEA night, and have enjoyed the garden location, but for a hard ticket party I don't want to spend time at the dessert party and this fit the bill perfectly. I got to have my cake and eat it to, so to speak :P.

Most end at midnight, but they will close the lines once they estimate that the guests in line will take the character through midnight.

So, just as an example I made up, if Jack's line is looking really long around 10:30 pm, it could be capped at that point. If you get lucky a different night, his line could be open thru 11:30. It can be hard to say.
