I can’t even begin to count...my kindle is always with me and I freak out when I leave it in the laundry room or bathroom or on the elliptical...I’m sort of like the absent minded professor walking around reading all of the time🤣

Same, I read a book every few days, but don't keep track. I read on the kindle app on my phone so it's always with me. Lunch breaks, kid activities. But I also put it down and leave it random places. :D

I read a lot, but I don’t keep track. I should probably start doing that....
I didn't use to either, but got on Goodreads 4-5 years ago. Plus, then I know if I'd read a book already, because sometimes I'd forget.
My job leaves me no time for reading anymore. So I listen to books now. I do a fair amount of driving for work. I have a Platinum subscription to Audible but wind up renewing it more than once a year.

Davina Porter is da bomb!!!

Maybe it's time I give audio books a try.

Does anybody know how the stroller size limits are actually enforced at WDW? My double stroller is 31 3/4" wide which is just over the 31" limit. Is there somebody at the gate measuring strollers and confiscating any that don't meet the limit? Or is this a more general policy that is only being enforced on those who are several inches bigger than allowed?

I have no problem following the policy as stated, but if they are being lax on the enforcement, I would prefer to use our stroller rather than buy or rent one once we are there.

I did ask this question over in the families forum, but the people over there seem to be pretty by the book and did not offer much help.

My #1 reason for using GoodReads! Sometimes I'll hear about a book, go start reading it and realize it sounds familiar. So I started a "to read" list in the app now and just use that as my go to. I'm aiming for 12 books this year though. I enjoy reading but making the time is another story. It's good for my mind but also make me feel guilty I wasn't doing something else.

I booked the Swan using AA miles. Does anyone know if I can add my Marriott number to the reservation? I'm not expecting Marriott points from the stay, but would like other benefits like upgrade and breakfast, if possible. Just curious.

It’s funny you mention this. I read 57 books last year and I’m only at 27 this year, mostly all on audio. I did used to always have one on my kindle for before bed or waiting rooms but I find myself checking this thread or reddit instead. I really started back up into churning in April and that’s just about when I slowed down on reading.

I’ve actually been trying to make a more conscience effort to read a bit more. Just so hard when there are points on the table!
I love to read, but really don't get to do it very much at this point in my life. I do audible, so I can listen in the car and while I'm cooking or doing other things around the house (everyone in my family listens to audible books - if you walk around my house on a Saturday morning, you will hear 3 or 4 different books going). We only get a couple of credits per month, so we listen to favorite books/series more than once. Some Harry Potter or other is almost always in someone's rotation. But while I enjoy audible, it doesn't count as "reading" for me - there is something about burying my nose in a real book, when I can't do anything but be immersed in the story that is special.

The only books I've read lately (other than re-reading a chapter or two of an old favorite here or there) are young adult fiction. My teen and I give each other books for birthdays/christmas and then share the books. We've been reading Neal Shustermann this year. I read an entire trilogy of his during my vacation this year - was really fun. I can't remember the last time I read something that would qualify as literature (other than Jane Ausitn, which kind of counts, but they are in my "old favorite" category).

Has anyone used the Costco app for checking out vs your physical card? Do they scan a barcode like the Sam's app?

They scan a QR code on the app. I'm so happy they have this so I don't have to carry another card around!! And it doesn't take up a slot in DH's 3-card wallet that he won't give up.

That’s why I use goodreads too. I read mostly the same genre so sometimes the stories are really similar. It’s a quick check to see if I’ve read the book before or not

You guys I think I did the Office Depot Visa gc deal all wrong and I’m ashamed of myself lol. Someone please explain to me how you would make the most out of the buy $300 save $15 deal. I want to check if I did it right but pretty sure I didn’t 😢

Was it instant during the application process? I was denied almost immediately after on the status line, then I received an email (or a letter, can’t remember) asking for identity verification. Sent it in and approved. What a convoluted and annoying process!

It was like two hours later! The immediate message was review and then the first time I checked it, it switched. Maybe identity? Idk

Is anyone able to give me the number to call to product change my CSR to a CF, please.
Does it matter if I have a balance on the card when I PC?
Thanks!
