I can give you our experience last May. Arriving from ORD to YVR, it took us over 2 hours to clear customs and get luggage. It’s was nuts even though they had kiosks. They directed the line in a completely unorganized illogical way. On the way back, we weren’t allowed to use GE without our GE cards (which I had unwisely hidden in our luggage and forgotten where).

Lol not tonight. They recently went to DL for free for the Halloween stuff and we don’t really like their free trips as much. Plus I’m not really into watching them walk around the Halloween party

How do you feel about the sponsored videos? When I see that mentioned in the comments it makes me dissect everything the people do (all vloggers, not just Tim Tracker) and I don't think I enjoy the videos as much!

I had a pretty long day and was taking a nap. It was a bit of an extended nap

Hopefully tomorrow is easier! I can usually function on little to no sleep, but today was something special between meetings and work SMH

I regularly take a nap at 3 pm lol. Dh usually wakes me up when he gets home from work

not in a position of hiring but I will say my SOs company only recruited at certain schools. when looking at schools I’d look at what companies go to the career fairs and look at alumni connections. a higher endowment is more likely to have an engaged alumni base that prefers to hire their own.

I definitely agree that certain companies and industries go for affiliations. I used my school e-mail address when applying for jobs because some companies I applied for actively recruited from my school.

Dh and I definitely don’t like them as much. It feels like they’ve been doing so many paid-for trips lately. Tim and Jenn are generally very positive in their videos but I feel like they’re more so on the trips that are paid for. I also just don’t feel like those trips are relatable for us.

I can definitely see that! IDK how anyone would be honest when Disney is footing the bill!

Oh, I forgot to share my big news...all FOUR cabins on the parents' DCL Golden Anniversary cruise are now PIF!

I paid it off with a variety of methods- DM and DF helped by getting Disney visas during the $200 for $500 spend, DM also will earn $650 off the last $3000 spent with the CIC and of course various and asundry gc purchases-either from Sam's, BB, BB&B and Lowes. If I were awesome with mathing like @amalone1013 I could give you exact discount amounts but the gc ranged from 8%-21% off which I'm happy with considering this cruise was not inexpensive.

I really believe it's helpful to have a good 18-20 months to save, plan and allocate new CCs for a big trip like this. Whew...so glad I'm done paying it off...now to work on vacations I actually want to take!

That would be a STAT call from me. I can pick up most bugs but a roach crawling on me, nope. Spiders for some reason freak me out.

I agree, we are definitely in a bit of a rut as of late. That also seems to have occurred on r/churning also as comment volume is down there as well.

I think there's a couple of major factors here:

• There haven't really been any new exciting offers to discuss
• There are largely 2 advanced strategies dominating everybody's game-plan right now and they don't exactly require advice or discussion so we're all just going about our "business".

I wonder if SW CP season coming up in a month or so will inject some energy into the conversation? I'd imagine that will be on a lot of people's radar.

I’m excited we got DHs SW Biz card. Will sign him up for the GSB account tonight and fund the wjoke MSR. CP here we come. In other news, my 80k points are pending on CIP. Yay!
