Do it!!!! I love my USO APs!!!! I upgraded to the premium since we had several trips planned and this allow us to stay the "cheaper" resorts and still have EP after 4 pm (which we are fine with.) I currently have 4 night at SF booked for Thanksgiving and 2 nights at SF at Christmas time on AP rates.
Can you explain the EP after 4?

@calypso726 (or anyone else) any hotel recommendations for Edinburgh or St. Andrews? Will need 2 rooms for 2 families of 3 (both have DD’s that will be 9).

Have you done the Edinburg underground tours? DH and I did many years ago before DD came along and it was so cool. Hoping to find another as DD loves all things creepy. It was so cool to go down to the original city ground level and explore the remnants of living quarters (mostly one room, definitely not upper class dwellings). They have haunted versions too.

We also caught the special "Fan Event" screening last night, and each of us got a cute little snow globe. Loved seeing it with the fans, who clapped and laughed at all the cutting little quips, especially from old lady Grantham. My wife loved it, and I'll say what I've always said about Julian Fellowes – the man is a master of fan service, the movie was thoroughly satisfying and leaves all the characters we care about in a happy place. The series didn't need a movie, but the movie is still fantastic. The movie doesn't need a sequel, but I really wouldn't mind if Julian Fellowes has another story to tell about Downton. I remarked to my wife afterward how much I appreciated Downtown Abbey, the series and the film, compared to the clusterf*ck of GoT Season 8.

100% agree with all of this. I just absolutely loved the final scene of the movie  I really appreciate authors/creators who cater to fan service, because I often find that the fans have some great ideas. Reading some of the theories people had on reddit for season 8 GoT, I was like “oh man this season is going to be incredible!!” And then... not.

Come on! Victoria? Poldark?!

I knoooow!! They’ve been on my list forever, but it’s so hard for me to have the patience to sit down and watch tv lol. I’ve been watching more recently since I started cross stitching and I can sit and do that and feel productive while I watch tv haha. But then I usually sit down and am like “hey I should binge watch The Wire again!”

Can't help much with the wallet since I use a small Kate Spade one. But the reason I like it is because it's got a keychain ring attached and my bag has a strap with a hook so I attach the two and don't have to worry I'll accidentally leave my wallet somewhere. I also like that it's small and holds the cards I need. Only issue is the zipper pouch in the middle is small so if I've got too much cash it can get caught in the zipper. Generally not an issue though.
That is a feature I like! A hook or strap to tether it in your bag, I used to do that with an old little coach wallet I used to use.

Right. Everything I read said I’d get the points back as a voucher. I’m so confused and totally bummed. My dates were 99% confirmed but that nagging concern that we may not be totally set was why I cancelled for the voucher. Turns out I could have just booked my dates as those are set now and never needed to cancel.
Could you call and ask for it to go back to a voucher? Might not hurt to try
I doubt it's a typo as I have tried twice with a month between and got the pop-up both times. It makes zero sense why she would get the pop-up. She has had 2 AMEX cards in her whole life, only one of which had a SUB. So frustrating!
Try spending on the one she has. Hilton is the worst I got DHs to go away after upgrading a card and doing a ton of spend
@amalone1013 did you SM chase to get the PP card? Mine already shows activated but when I login to the app they say my card is expired.

And I'm guessing it'll take a couple days for it to all flow through because even though it's changed to a csr in the pic I still only have the option to combine points on the two cards to my csp.
This was a Pc right? Mine got messed up. They assured me it would be automatically sent and when I reached out a few weeks later saying it wasn’t they expedited them via SM
Thank you! I was able to grab that motherlode I was waiting to ask for for Christmas now! I had the $20 amex offer plus the 22% at TCB, and the motherlode was marked down to $89. I had to add a luggage tag for $5 to get the total over $100 for the amex offer, but DD3 needed one anyways. My new motherlode should come out to about $50. What a deal!
You get the Jr? I’m getting each my kids ones for the holidays
I can't do 2 rooms and stay at Hilton. Well, I could, but I'd wipe out a ton of points and I am stashing them for Grand Wailea. How old are your kids? My DD20 may or may not come. I was thinking if she comes we bring or buy some sort of air mattress. DD3 could fit in a crib. That is so redneck, but 80k points a night per room is soooo steep. Someone from this thread has been to that Hilton and said I'd have no issues sneaking in more than occupancy. I wouldn't try that at Grand Wailea though. I plan on 2 rooms there.
I’ve stayed at Hilton. It’s large enough you’ll be fine sneaking them in. Might be kinda tight quarters I don’t remember the room being overly large but you should fly under the radar

Counter DP. I requested a CL reduction on a CIP using the new interface yesterday and got a reply within 10 minutes that they did as requested.
And yesterday DH got an email that they increased the limit on his CIP from $5k to $7700 lol

@bernina-

I'm sure @calypso726 has several EDI recommendations. I think you have a little one and my go to is more about the spa- The Grand Sheraton Hotel and Spa.
In St Andrews, my regular inn is The Albany Inn which has a couple of “family” rooms- the one we always reserve has a king that can be separated and a little room with a twin and an outside porch- love it. Look online for photos if it sounds like that would work-I know there’s another family room that might be larger. They have the worst ever free breakfast lol so DD and I would walk down the street to the coffee shop where Will and Kate would meet for coffee- the North Point Cafe..love their hot chocolate. :)

Chase Pay... one last hurrah after Chase announced it'll kill the app in early 2020. :rotfl2:

PayPal! At least @SouthFayetteFan can MS this from the recliner in his basement! :lmao:

The money in limbo thing is a little disconcerting. My "hub" bank posts things really fast, so the idea that transfers would take days and days was new to me too. On the other hand, a magical $200 or $300 or whatever showing up in my bank account does help soothe my troubled banking soul. Bank bonuses definitely require more planning and patience - I only do them a few times a year, when the payoff is worth the angst!

Agree. I just finished one for a local bank and after the 3 month requirements it still took an extra month for the bonus to post. And now I still have to wait 2 months before I can close it. Yes patience.

Question (this isn't my scenario, but my brother) if he got a CSP 2 years ago and his wife was AU, she's still eligible for her own CSP bonus now, correct? The Au rules get me confused at times....
AU doesn't count for sign up bonus. My wife got CSP a year ago, I was AU, she just referred me and got her bonus and I'm earning my 60k bonus as we speak. It did take a long time to get approved. I think having the CSP active on my credit report was the cause for that.

This was a Pc right? Mine got messed up. They assured me it would be automatically sent and when I reached out a few weeks later saying it wasn’t they expedited them via SM

Yeah it's a PC. I'll just sm them and say it says activates but when I log in to PP it says my card is expired and I need a new one. Don't want to wait too long since I want to use it next month.

Good Morning!
P2 is still under review for his first Citibiz app. It's been 3 days. Is this a bad sign for him? He has no other Citicards.

Also for anyone that has the SW priority card. Do perks reset when the AF hits or when I hit a year of the upgrade. May I upgraded and got the points. August (original anniversary date from original card) AF hit.
Citi apps can sit pending for awhile sometimes. I wouldn't necessarily be concerned yet. He could get bold and try to call recon...but I'd guess that's not exactly the preference, lol.

I don't have the SW Priority card but I'd assume it would be on the anniversary of the upgrade (kind of like how the CSR travel credit resets independent of the AF after you do an upgrade).

I don't think I can take these bank transfers. Finally doing my first bank bonus with the Discover one and I have $9000 floating in space somewhere. I don't like this feeling. And I have to try to do this again and again to max at $25k. Ughhhhhh I am not doing another one that involves so many transfers. I didn't realize they take so long. I did it 2 days ago and it is not guaranteed to be in there till next week. I am not sure I am even going to make the $15k bonus at this rate. On my credit union end I know the person that allows the transfers to happen. She is going to be wondering what in the world we are doing. I still have my VGC and haven't tried Serve yet. lol I will probably lose them before I become brave.

I am in the process of the Discover one too. Transfers are taking forever. Put $15,000 in and got $150 bonus right away. Then took $10,000 out and just transferred it back in today to trigger the remaining $50 bonus. Each transfer is taking about a week. Was hoping to do this for DH too but with how slow the process is won't be able to as the promotion ends on the 23rd. But I'm sure they will have another one soon. So, will wait for his and maybe the kids too.
