We all slept in again this morning and then hopped back on the monorail for brunch. We had a 10:30 am reservation at 1900 Park Fare. We took Gia here when she was a baby and she grabbed the syrup and spilled in all over herself. Talk about a sticky mess...Matt and Timmy had only been here for dinner, years ago, when Matt proposed to both stepsisters, complete with paper rings (got called out and had to explain himself. LOL!) So, we were all looking forward to it.

That's the best story about Matt!!

After brunch, we decided to spend some time at the pool. Chip and Dale came by for a while and Gia got to play a game of Bags with them, which was really cute. Do you all call it Bags or Corn Hole?

What game is it?? I've never heard of either.

So, while Matt and Timmy took Gia to the World of Disney store, Julie and I made ourselves at home at Winebar George. Julie had a glass of red and I ordered a glass of Sangria (I know, big surprise at this point). We shared the fried mac and cheese appetizer and I ordered the Dole Whip Froscato cookie (which I thought was just a sugar cookie that I was going to eat later on that night but had to eat it right away, because I screwed up. It was really an ice cream sandwich). OMG!!! It was sooooo good. Unfortunately, it totally ruined my appetite for dinner...This thing was HUGE!

Dinner with Kari and her family was a lot of fun. I missed her so much and it was so nice finally meeting her family. I don't count the first time I met them because it was so quick (we were literally walking past each other and I happened to notice them. We said a fast hello and then Kari came by our table at LTT to say hi since our lunch ressies were about the same time. This was probably 2 years ago). We enjoyed some drinks. Jason, Julie, and Matt may have eaten a grasshopper or 2 (you can see all of that in my next vlog), and enjoyed a great meal together. Julie and I split the queso app, which was phenomenal.

Everything looks great and how fun to hang out with Kari and fam!

I think that's a smart idea going with a tshirt and shorts for the party. Looking at some of the costumes, those people have to be dying in them. I always feel badly for the characters during the crazy hot months too.

I love Keds and still wear them.

Bags or Corn Hole? I grew up on the southside of Chicago, then south suburbs and always called it Bags. I then married my husband and moved 40 minutes away into Northwest Indiana. Hoosiers call it Corn Hole. I gave in years ago and now call it Corn Hole.

That was really cool that of Chip and Dale! What a great memory for Gia!

I'm sure you hear this all the time, but you and your sister look a lot alike.

Weird!! I honestly don't mind when they do that though since it gets you at least one photo op with your whole group! I hate that the characters in the restaurants don't have photographers with them or even character attendants to ask to take one!

Hmmm... I think I used to maybe refer to it as Bag Toss. But now that I've heard Corn Hole (about a year ago?), I think of it as that.

BIG UPDATE, HUGE!!!


Hi everyone!!! So, guess what?!?! I'm going back to Disney World!! Joe and I have booked a trip over MLK weekend and we will be joined by our very special friends, @ariane37 and her husband Steve, with special guest stars @ArielSRL (Renee), her husband Chad, and @disneyAndi14 (Caroline). We are in the early stages of making plans, but we all have our trips booked and a couple of things planned already...I am soooo excited! I can't believe I am going to get to spend time with this awesome group of friends again and I am thrilled to FINALLY be attending my very first Festival of the Arts at Epcot.

So, where are we staying??? Well, Joe and I are booked at POFQ from January 15th to the 21st. But, this is subject to change once the AP rates come out...Our flight lands at MCO around 5ish, I think, and we depart that Tuesday in the late afternoon. These are perfect flights in my opinion because I don't have to wake up at the a** crack of dawn for either of them. #winning! #jennyneedshersleep!

As I said, we are in the early stages of planning so I don't have much reserved in terms of dining. But, I will tell you that Joe and I have a BOG breakfast booked, and dinner at Tiffins before Ariane and Steve arrive. Ariane, Steve, Joe and I have booked the new character breakfast at Topolino's at the new Riviera Resort. We are also planning a group meet up at Jock Lindsey's. YAY!!!

In terms of the parks, I am leaving that in the hands of the fabulous TA, @ariane37 I have left her in charge of FP's and where we need to be when...I just requested that she try to get a FP for FOP and SDD. Joe and I are planning on spending our first full day at MK and then hopping over to DAK for DAH. DAH at DAK will also be a first for me (and Joe).

Like I said, I am super excited about this trip and I will keep everyone updated as our plans unfold...
