We leave for Disney Saturday late afternoon for a week (the trip we extended by a day to lattend SWGE preview). I need a few hundred in Disney GC and haven’t had time to utilize any deals to get discounts.

This late I have to take what I can buy in store. Other than Target 5% discount can I do better anywhere else? I suppose if Kroger has 4x fuel points that could be an option too (just more work since we try to max out with both vehicles filling at once).

I guess I should have been more specific... I meant WDW QS Mobile ordering. I'm trying to figure out which card to add. Either CIP or CSP.

If you are collecting URs and have a CIC ...it codes 5x at office supply stores.....

I have the old Chase Ink Plus which codes the same. Not quite as convenient (or fun!) as a Target run but those 5x URs are worth more, especially with the CSR multiplier. Thanks for the reminder!

Where are you staying?

We are staying at 3 different resort, resort hoping sounded like so much fun 9 months ago. Not so much anymore.
We are doing Sat-Tue at Pop, Tues-Thurs YC, and Thur-Sun CR.

Related to my morning AA drama.... I'M GOING TO WDW FOR HALLOWEEN FUN!!! I'm a bit worried traveling in mid-Sept as I've never been to FL deep into hurricane season but I decided since my CSR has my travel insurance back I'm gonna take advantage of this AP while I've got it! (Also some credit card and bank bonus stars aligned over the last couple months to add some extra travel funds to the travel kitty this year so that's really what made it happen!)

For those who book AA Reduced Mileage Saver awards... TLDR; if the rep says no discount because only destination cities, not origin cities, count as being on the list HUCA.

I book these once in a while so I don't have much experience and therefore didn't realize this can be a common HUCA situation if only your origin city is on the list. I know from the travel blogs you can do it with your origin or destination in the qualifying month. I got a rep today who insisted my destination was the only city that qualified for the discount and even consulted with an award booking desk or something to confirm it. (I didn't push him, just stated what I wanted and he put me on hold for like 20 mins and when he came back I got the "destination ONLY" spiel). After a quick q on FT confirming origin or destination would work even on one-ways, I called again. New Rep booked my flight no issues, whole call only took 7 mins.

I guess this is why we fly SW. I have no idea what this means

That is ours too but not planning to go. I got an email for $15 one way flights on Frontier, though, so trying to throw together a quick trip. Resort prices are so cheap!

However, I did forget to point out that IHG is moving to dynamic award pricing, similar to Hilton. I kinda forgot about it myself This could change the value of the bonus depending on where you want to use it. But I'd like to think even if it matches Hilton, you could still get at least 2 decent nights out of that and more likely could still find somewhere to get 4-5 out of it; especially when you get the 4th night free on award stays with this card.
