My dh is going to Boca Raton for his new job training and I am going too!!!! (as well as our ds8...all other kids are taken care of other places) So, I need some hotel recs. Dh is at an embassy suites in Boca for his training. My ds and I will fly in on Thursday am, check out of the embassy suites on Friday and then we need another hotel for Friday and SAturday. Flying home Sunday night. We'd love to stay on the beach and I do have two BonBon FN's I could use (35k). Any recs from anyone who knows the area? @calypso726 maybe

We're flying into FLL and out of MCO so we could move north up the coast if that helps.

Going to look into Plastique for my mortgage for the next couple of months as soon as I get that Citi card in the mail. It is a MasterCard so that should be OK, as far as I can tell.

I've seen some of you talk about a 'deal' (or maybe it's a sale?) where the Plastique fee is less than the regular 2.5%. Is this something you're getting for being a past customer, or how is that working? I'll probably go ahead and do it regardless, but I figured I should save every bit I can.

you shouldn't have a problem using mc with plastiq for mortages. visa is here and there. my old work around isn't working anymore. contact your mortage company to find out how they handle multiple payments. Ours is quite high so I called and they set my account up so all payments go towards the monthly payment not principle. This way whenever it reaches enough for a monthly payment its processed otherwise its in a holding account.

use a dischurner link and that will save you 1/2 the fees for the first $1k you use it for. the promos vary I'd expect they might do another one next month as it seems they offer them every other month lately

Just made it through the Olympics wait line. Literally every single event was sold out. Not an exaggeration. I clicked through multiple events, including ones I had no interest in and found no availability for anything. So I guess now I just need to decide when we went to go to Japan next year.

That is terrible! Can they email it to you? Surely they have to send digital police reports out to insurance companies and others. Sorry you seem to be having so many issues lately!

Do you have the app for checking in? Apparently they sometimes put upgrades available for selection when you choose your room on there, though I've never witnessed this myself.

Thanks. They had sent me an email that I had tried and it said no upgrades were available. I just tried the request upgrade on the app and it said the same thing but to check at the front desk that day.

Do you need the actual report, or just the report number? Often a lot of companies just need the report number to verify that you've filed something. Sorry that's such a pain.

Chase support bonuses go pending every Tuesday around 6 pm EST, provided the card you supported was approved about a week prior (if not, then you'll need to wait for the next round of support bonuses to go pending the following Tuesday).

Chase SUBs don't have a specific day or time when they go pending. Usually, you'll see the Chase SUB show up as pending 5-7 days, sometimes longer, after the charge that put you past MSR posts.

Hope your SUB shows up soon!

I would bet it’s just like the cards I have for Shipt and doordash. No money is loaded onto them and they are easily switched from one person to another. If I have an extra card I can hand it off to someone else and they can attach it to their account. No money is loaded onto them and they are easily switched from one person to another. You can probably just toss it.

If it's like Door Dash, the card is only active when the driver has to pay for an order at a restaurant. Once paid and delivered, the card is no longer usable until another order requiring the card is needed. The card has no money stored on it.
