Priceline Express Deals

Could someone post what I need to look for to book The Swan or POFQ?
For the Swan (and POFQ), look at the regular listing and note the number of stars as well as the number of reviews. It's usually the only 4.5-star hotel available through express deals in Bonnet Creek. The number of reviews rounds down on opaque listings, do if the transparent Swan has 423 reviews (I don't know the real number), then the express deal will list it as having 400 reviews.

For POFQ, it's in the Disney Springs area. All Disney resorts on Priceline express list only three amenities "internet access, pool, and restaurant" and they have no additional mandatory fee either.

We're big fans of POFQ and - discount or not - it's hard to pull us away from there. The discounts you can get at the Swan/Dolphin through Priceline Express are pretty bonkers, though, and their rooms are a step-up from a Moderate. Some things to consider - and curious if Priceline includes this in its quote - are the daily resort fees at Swan/Dolphin (?) I know this is usually tacked-on when you're staying there - I think it's ~$30/night (?) Also ~$22/night for parking if you have a car. And no Magical Express. Can someone confirm this? Just something to think about before you reserve.

Priceline will include the resort fees in the total under “hotel fees;” although a few times when people booked they weren’t listed. I believe some people got the fees waived by Priceline but I can’t name a specific person.
There is no magical express there but there is transportation to the parks. I usually factor in $100 round trip to take us to and from the airport. (We usually hire a big SUV to drive us. I know ubering can be much cheaper.)
POFQ is one of my favorite resorts and I’d stay there over Swan if the prices were the same. However, if I got a good deal on the Swan, I’d stay there again for sure!

I just booked a Priceline Express deal at Swan. We paid for the resort and it says we own $337.50 at check in for the resort fees. They are upfront with everything.

We also love POFQ and we were booked there before we changed to the Swan 2 days ago. It was a tough decision, but our 2 favorite parks are EPCOT and DHS and we love the EPCOT resort area, and we are paying less than what we were at POFQ so considering everything we made the switch. Plus the Heavenly Beds were also hard to pass up.

Priceline also adds a large fee on Express deals. It's all shown prior to the final booking, so definitely compare the total per night after taxes among any resorts you are considering. The $107 at Swan total was more in the end than our $127 at Pop, even before the parking difference. The transparent Priceline deal was actually cheaper than the Express deal because of the fees. I'd still switch if Swan was available our dates since it looks like we will not have Skyliner to Epcot in August.

Thank you everyone, you have given me great feedback. My husband is right on board to stay at the Swan. We stayed at the Boardwalk once and we all just loved the area. Walking access to Food and Wine and so many Epcot and Boardwalk area restaurants is another huge plus . We weren’t plannIng to do a dining plan so that’s no issue, and we had already rented a car for arrival day because we are getting in late and staying at Disney Springs the first night with points.
It’s coming in $582.15 cheaper than POR at rack rate. That’s including Priceline Express fees and Resort Fees. That’s a good chunk of our dining budget for the trip.
I do love the mods and their themeing but I don’t love the jam packed food courts and buses. I think we will wait until this Tuesday just to see if discounts are released. If nothing good comes out I will happily book the Swan.

Hello everyone! I’ve been on the lookout for a PL deal for our August trip and I found what I think might be Swan for $123/night. All the clues seem to point to Swan.
• 4.5 stars in Bonnet Creek
• Swan can currently be booked as a visible deal for $177/night. The Express deal shows regular price as $177 marked down to $123.
• Resort fees work out to be $33.75/night (I’m guessing this is the total after tax.)

The only thing that’s throwing me off is one of the bed choices is “1 double bed”. To my knowledge, Swan doesn’t have any double beds, so I’m wondering if this is just misinformation on Priceline’s part. Hoping some of the pros here can give a second opinion as to what it might be.

Looking at Aug 8-13. Thanks for any help!

Post 3033 (2 pages back) got Swan for exactly that price and overlapping dates.

I just booked the Swan on July 4th for August 4th - 14th so your dates are in ours and I just did your dates on Priceline and it's 4.5 stars in Bonnet Creek and the resort fees are correct. The reviews show a rating of 8+ in 400 reviews which is also another hint and finally I have Hotel Canary and it says that it's the Swan so I'm just about 99.9% sure you'll get the Swan.

Oh I just noticed that on the page that you pick your room and fill in all your info it says "HINT: You've booked here before" so since that's the only hotel I've ever booked on Priceline then I really have to say it's the Swan.

Good luck it's a great deal.

Hotel Canary says it is the swan :-)

Just found for Sept. 18-25. Based on the original pricing and other details, I'm wondering if this is an Art of Animation suite. Fees are around $247 for the 7-night stay.
