AP prices increased [6/18/2019]

I am still having that same problem viewing AP rates. My AP is linked to me in MDE. However, when I go to specials and pic the Annual passholder special it takes me to a link to buy a AP. Very frustrating! I have called and done online chat and they keep saying it has to be activated in order so see rates. I know that is not correct but that is what I am being told. One rep created a ticket for me and IT would contact me. Still nothing

At the risk of asking an insulting question, are you sure you are looking at dates where an AP discount is available? They don’t go past August right now. I don’t think that’s your problem based on what you’ve posted, just making sure.

Not insulted at all. It doesn't matter what dates I use, I get the same statement on my resort search page:

Florida Resident, Passholder, Disney Vacation Club Member or U.S. Military? Sign in or update your profile to check for additional offers.

When I click the sign in link (even though I'm already signed in) it lets me sign in, then refreshes the page with the same offers and message as above.

Same for me, spent over an hour chatting and then IT ticket was created. They emailed me within the hour with the message I relayed in an earlier post. Something to the affect of the website is working as intended and since passes can be reassigned before they are activated i can't view rates until activation happens.

Probably all things you’ve done at this point, but I’d clear cookies and use a private browsing window like Chrome Incognito or similar.

Sorry, reaching for straws here.

Unless they have in fact changed something (if so I assume we’d seem far more reports).

What is strange it when you click on my profile and go to membership and it takes me to add a pass it says that the pass number is already associated to someone (me)

Same. I asked that during the chat this morning. The pass isn’t on my profile but is under My Plans.

I’ll clear cookies, I’m on a Mac so no other browser. I’ll try my husbands desktop later today.

Just out of curiosity, take a look at any after hours event and see if you’re eligible for the passholder discounted price. If you can’t, has to be a linkage problem I would think.

Nope.... only showing full price for me..... My AP is linked to me in MDE... I tried to tell them it was a linkage problem but that said no.

I’m no help, just wanted to say I’m experiencing the same thing and it’s super frustrating. I’ve cleared cookies, tried using an incognito browser and everything else I can think of.

I'm grabbing at straws and I'm sure there is someone here who knows this stuff better than me, but is it possible to remove it entirely from MDE and start over? Unlink it so to speak? I'm at a loss. Do they tell that it's showing for them? You're talking to tech support, right? There's just not a chance that they are correct about not being able to see prices. I just went to my daughter's MDE thru the website, not the app- pulled up after hours and this is what I see. She has no active ticket at all, just the linked voucher that she bought weeks ago through Disney. Screenshot (6).png

How many people bought APs from Sam's who have never had them before? I find it interesting. Disney still wins. ;)
I was debating buying one at all but got one from Sams when all this started lol! To be fair, I’m not one who said I was never going back or it’s the last straw etc. I’m actually hoping for a paid FP system IF they have no tiers & it’s “reasonably” priced.

In reality, Disney already allocated this block to Sam's. Sam's is the one winning. lol

I don't see that at all on mine. Even on some of the AP specials it says sign in to see rates and when I sign in i get the page to buy a annual pass

Thanks to the info on this thread, I went ahead and purchased another Platinum AP voucher from Sam’s. I had already bought one in May before the price increase. That one will be activated this December and will cover my 2020 trips. Now I have a second voucher that should cover all my trips through 2022, if I time it right.

There’s no telling what APs will cost in 2023. :scared1:

I don't even want to think about what that may be.

I just looked at Sams website, and at least with the gold pass, it shows the new price now

Edit: Nevermind, I'm dumb

This will be my last year as an AP holder. As a local, it has become more and more difficult to do anything at the parks. Sadly, I don't know that I will be going to a park months in advance, so I can never gets fastpasses or ADRs for the things I want. The crowds are just crazy. Even thought I live a half mile from Disney property, I rarely make to the parks anymore. It is just not worth it to me to pay these prices.
