June 2019 Check In

Do DISers still do the green Mickey heads or is there a current equivalent? There ought to be some way for all of us to recognize each other in the SWGE line or in the land!
I miss the LGMHs! We need to find something to distinguish our posters like we used to have!

June 24-28
WDW Veterans, first trip to DL. Trip booked well before SWGE dates were announced to coincide w/ local pass blackout, happy accident we'll be there for general opening (or unhappy w/ crowds and will make best of it ! )

I think this would be a really cool idea , especially for everyone in the May 31 to June 23 Star Wars Galaxys Edge Reservation period :) I second the motion for Lime Green Mickey Heads for Disers going to Disneyland in June 2019 :)

Any ideas on where to get them now or on how to make them?? I wish I'd grabbed a bunch when they were still available!

My first thought is just some lime green scrapbooking paper/cardstock and trace a Mickey on it. I feel like a remember a template for the LGMHs somewhere on the Googles, but it was years ago. But it would be best to be waterproof, so perhaps laminating? I always felt bad taking the paint samples figuring the store likely has to buy them.

I found some lime green Mickey heads on etsy.com -- they're made of resin, so they should be fairly sturdy -- a bit small, but they might work on a key chain or as a purse decoration. Hmmm... time to get creative. People on etsy are selling die cut green Mickey heads, but I don't need a package of so many at once!

Didn't get an email so I called yesterday. The CM was very helpful and friendly, with no wait on the phone. Seems they do not send emails to international guests.:badpc: But I have my reservation and can't wait. June 9th 2 pm:dogdance:

Hi everyone! My friends and I planned an impromptu Disneyland trip- my first in 5 years! We'll be there from June 20-23 and staying at the Tropicana. Fingers crossed I can get a Galaxy's Edge reservation on the 2nd! :flower1:

Hi there! This will be our first time at Disneyland. We are checking in 6/28 and checking out 7/2. Staying at Desert Palms hotel and suites. We are soooo excited!!

I have to wait until May 2 to try for a reservation. I may have to adjust my lunch hour that day so work doesn’t get in my way.
I've been counting down for May 2nd as well for my reservations. Adjusting work by 15 minutes to allow a little better timing, mainly.

And then I looked at my calender. Mandatory training. May 2. 10:00am. Pacific time of course. I'm "hoping" the server goes down for a while, and that I can get a reservation when I'm back from the meeting!
