We just left and there were cranes out on our view. I believe they were also doing some refurbs down this wing on the 4th floor as well. The hall was closed in with a door and workers going in and out of the hall.

Did you stay on Kudu and are those cranes over on Kidani? We were on the 4th floor Kudu last year and I was hoping to stay there again...darn!We just left and there were cranes out on our view. Thanks....we were in 4350 last Nov. and Oct. 2017 we had a partial savanna on the 3rd floor Kudu. I put it in as a request for our upcoming stay.We were in room 4343 in Jambo. See below. we stayed for 8 days and never heard any construction noise. Although, we leave early in the morning and come back late in the afternoon so we weren't in the room during construction hours. It looked like they used the cranes just for painting.

Frederic Awesome!!!!
I am so excited to be staying at AKL for the first time in two weeks, 2 connecting rooms savanna view. This was a hard switch for me because we always stay at SOG. The price difference was very very hard to swallow for me plus the amazing room sizes at SOG always win hands down since we do spend a lot of time in our room and at our resort. It was time for our family to try something new and after doing research on every resort, AKL beat out every other resort including SAB pool because DS9, DS8, and DD4 saw that the AKL pool is the biggest on property ( Plus the animals but that goes without saying ). Everything that Frederic mentioned in his post was exactly what we saw. Thank you for making me even more excited about our upcoming trip!
Yes, just pull up to the front and they will take your luggage to bell services and give you a ticket. When you get to your room just dial bell service and they will send the luggage to your room. Usually takes about 15 mins for them to get to your room. Don't forget to tip!We are driving down and arrive Saturday!! How does bell services work? We usually just take our own luggage to the rooms but are thinking we want help at AKL. So do we just pull up to the front and they help us or what do we do?
