They wouldn’t do it if they didn’t anticipate the demand. The resorts will sell. They built Poly before Aulani sold out. Heck, Aulani still has not sold out. They started selling CCV before Poly sold out. Reflections will take a few years to build because they aren’t modifying an existing structure like they did with Poly and CCV. They’re building from the ground up. Riviera will be close to sold out by the time Reflections is complete.they announced another resort by the wilderness Lodge to be built by 2022.what are they thinking? Where are all these people going to fit in the parks.??They should be building more rides and attractions instead?what is going on

I actually think Disney could make a killing off of running a high end assisted living facility. It's going to be a Senior Citizens Center AND a Rehab Facility!!!

Must be Reflections since its location is Wilderness Lodge.
The majority of park guests do not stay onsite. Adding another onsite resort will have very little impact n crowd size.
It'll sell out just fine. Most people aren't aware of the restrictions or even the resale market at all.I would be surprised if Riviera is close to sell out by then with the new rules DVD made. I sure don't want it.
They still house only a moderate percentage of daily park guests (depends on the season obviously). The biggest effect is siphoning off business from the neighboring hotels.Right! This is the point everyone misses when they think more resorts = more crowded parks. These resorts aren't attracting people who weren't coming to WDW originally. WDW attracts those people. Then those people have to decide on a place to stay. Disney is just trying to bring them on property to trap that cash in the bubble.

No, no, that is my home resort of OKW. By 2042 I'll be ready for it. All they need to do is retrofit elevators into the buildings.I actually think Disney could make a killing off of running a high end assisted living facility.
