We just booked BRV thru DVC rental store for Sept, was half the price of Disney.

oh, whoops. I'm not sure. If It's not allowed I'll remove my post. But yeah, you just have to google DVC rental and a whole bunch of places come up. But the one I wrote is the one we used. I like them because you don't have to pay a fee to check availability and you don't have to pay it all upfront, just a percentage with rest due 45 days prior. Which is better for us.

On a side note, does anyone know if a high chair is in the BRV Studio rooms? We will have two kids with us, one being 10 months old and it would be so handy. If not I'll bring a fold up portable one.

Most DVC villas have both the pack and play and a highchair in the closet. If you don't find one, just call Housekeeping and they should be able to bring you one.

Do you receive lotion as part of the toiletries at WL - I cannot remember from our trip just a few months ago. It'd be one less thing for us to pack if so...

Can anyone tell me, is there a door and stairwell at the Bay Lake end of WL wings? For room requests, I'm thinking it could be useful for getting to the dock to ask for a room near the end of the wing, but if not then it's that much farther from the elevators.

Yes, there's a stairwell at the end of the wing closest to the boat dock. We took the stairs down a few times and went out that door.

I think I read that the Old Faithful Club closes down for a period during the day. Do the other resorts also close, or is it just WL? Does that bother people who stay club level, or it just isn't a big deal?
It's too bad that the seventh floor has the closed in balconies. It looks as though you would have to stand to see anything.

The food service closes for approximately 1 hour in-between Services, but the Lounge (seating) itself stays open and there are CMs available to get beverages, help with ADRs, etc!

Thanks! Sounds like you've stayed club level at WL. If so, did you enjoy it? Does it compare favorably with other resorts club level experiences? I haven't been lucky enough to stay yet,

Yes, I have and I love it! Will be back again early next month and again in May!

They are the only CL that actually has draft beer! Although there’s no chef cooking and plating during the 5-7pm appetizers, their chefs prepare wonderful appetizers each evening!

Also, the CMs working in the Lounge are awesome! They (personally) call guests within a week of arrival to ask if you have any questions, concerns, requests.

As an FYI...if you book a regular room in WL without the enclosed balconies, you can request to add CL at check-in for $100 a night per room. It's only as an if available basis, but because they took away half of CL to create CCV they have extra CL space. WL is the only Disney resort that I know of that does this.

Maybe a good compromise, although the access from the seventh floor is probably nice too. Not a bad dilemma to have!

What is the best way to get to Poly for a 7:30 am ADR ( from WL)? We enjoy the boats but figure a Minnie Van is probably going to be the best choice so early in the morning.

I checked some out, but I remembered while researching them why I didn't do this in previous trips. I really like having my 5 day room-only cancellation policy. I guess I will have to compare the difference between going this route with Trip insurance, compared to paying Disney price with the 5 day get all my money back policy. Luckily, I have lots of time!!

According to the picture of the sign in the Transportation post on page #1, it runs from 6:45AM - 11:30PM.

What is the best way to get to Poly for a 7:30 am ADR ( from WL)? We enjoy the boats but figure a Minnie Van is probably going to be the best choice so early in the morning.

Minnie Van, Lyft or Uber will probably be your best bet.

What we have done a few times, taking the first run of each:

As early as 0645:

BLUE ROUTE LAUNCH BOAT: WILDERNESS LODGE ==> CONTEMPORARY

As early as 0700:

RESORT MONORAIL: CONTEMPORARY ==> (TTC) ==> POLYNESIAN

However, you are depending on them being on time and synching up.

More reliable may be Uber/Lyft or a Minnie van or taxi.

To clarify this - you would still be in your regular room, on a floor lower than 7, but have access to the 7th floor for food/drink/lounge etc. Correct?
Do they still have OFC members use their MB in the elevator for access?

It cannot be added on at CCV. I asked about this last month while staying in a one-bedroom at CCV. I was on a cash stay through WDW, so hoped that maybe I could, but no. Definitely not through DVC. DVC does have Reunion Station that you may be able to add on though.

If you are a DVC member, you can book Reunion Station!
