I've logged out & back in numerous times over several days on different browsers and still see the offers on cards that I can't add. Maybe it's just my account, but it's driving me nuts.

I was thinking of complaining but I have gotten my share of offers and I haven't gotten my Gold 50K mr's yet so I think I'll stay quiet in my corner, but yes this is annoying. I redeemed an offer and have received the credit and the offer is still showing on my other card, but I can't add/use it. I've tried..

@Judique it sounds like you worked out your Christmas tree issue but three words for you would be “cat tower tree.” Last year I couldn’t deal with thought of dragging tree out and then putting it back away couple weekends later so had the idea and sold it to the girls that we would put out two cat towers together, string lights on them, put the tree skirt and presents and call it good. It was more than a little disconcerting for the grandpas when they came over but otherwise a hit with both our 2 cats and the kids. We didn’t get a chance this past weekend but totally doing it again Saturday.

OMG....I would indeed be the crazy cat lady of the neighbourhood! I'm sure the kids and cats absolutely loved it! But my family would start shopping for senior assisted living (keep an eye on her!) homes.

I don't actually have a cat tree in my house as I dragged it to the curb last year because it was getting ratty looking and I haven't replaced it. Those things take up space, and need to be cleaned and vacuumed so more house work.

I'm going to keep this idea in my mind for later on.

I've stayed at MGM Grand several times and I've never had any issues but I swear, something is going on with this place. You might recall I had no hot water when I checked in, gave up waiting, took a cold shower and was moved the next morning.

This afternoon, I soaped up my hands, turned on the tap and then had no water. No water from ANY of the taps to be accurate. I "washed" with a lysol wipe and it was at least 30 minutes before my water came back. I did take a video of the dry pipe making air noises. When the water did come back it was pretty black for awhile. I mean, is this the point I complain and get something for my troubles? I'm not a problem maker, but come on.

Positive news: my DVC contract passed ROFR.

You got the dates in reverse order. If your payment due date is 1/13 then your statement close date is 3 days later so 1/16. I suspect since you don’t have a Dec payment due that you are in the clear now but if you want to be wait until 12/17 or later to complete the spend. You’ll just want to make sure you are done by say 1/8 or 9 so all of the transactions post in time.

Hi guys. I need SW CP experts....I came here looking for updated advice on earning the SW CP but this thread moves so fast!!!!! DH got the SW Biz in late Oct. My plan is to apply for him for a personal card while in flight this Saturday (SW flight), hoping for the 50,000 pt offer. If I can't get that offer I will be back to ask advice on how to earn the extra 10,000 pts we will need for the CP but don't want to get ahead of myself. If I can't get the 50,000 offer, my plan is to refer him through my SW Plus card so I get the bonus. Is this currently still the best plan? I'm wondering if I should have him call and lower his available credit? His limit on his CSR is $20,000. He has an Ink as well but I don't believe the business cards will count toward his application for a SW Plus correct? I had this plan all down but that was over a month ago and I'm feeling kind of shaky haha. We fly SW A LOT so the CP is extremely valuable to us. If there are any tips on getting the 50,000 offer please let me know. I have actually never used in flight wi-fi before. Thanks for all of you help.

Can I go through the UR shopping portal, best % back for etsy, but pay with an amex? And if I can how do I get to the portal, never done it before. Otherwise I'll just use sb.

I would like to know this as well (i.e., going through the Chase portal but using a non-Chase cc). I've always assumed I needed to use a Chase card, so I've been defaulting to the United portal when I'm meeting MSR on an Amex card. To get to the portal, log in to your Chase account and go to Ultimate Rewards for one of your cards. Click on the Earn button at the top and it will give you the option of going to Shop Through Chase. Click that and you are in the portal. Definitely more steps and more of a pain to access than MileagePlus Shopping, for example, especially because you need to be logged in to your Chase account.

I am so sorry to hear this. So hard at any time and especially with the holidays approaching. If there is any silver lining, it is that the unemployment rate is so low, as others have mentioned. Not that that will make you feel better right now.

Oh, yeah, that really is a new glitch. Knock wood it hasn't hit me yet but I did hear of others complaining about it while the offers were going crazy. Now that it seems semi stable I thought that would all be fixed but I guess not. AmEx is the roller coaster of a Love/Hate theme park, all in 2 minutes you can love 'em, hate 'em and then love 'em again - sounds like we're in the hate 'em valley at the moment.
