I thought the idea of the Seinfeld ending was great bringing everyone back, but it definitely flopped in terms of execution.

Worst: How I Met Your Mother and Rosanne - tied, not just the last show the whole last seasons of both.

Best: Parenthood - heartbreaking but full circle. My DD and I sobbed like babies.
MASH - Close runner up. The last episode aired on my 15th birthday and took precedence over cake, lol. There were watching parties all up and down the block. I didn’t appreciate MASH enough when I was a kid but now I’ll watch it anytime it’s on. Stoked for the marathon tomorrow.

The final season of HIMYM was horrible. Honestly, the show kind of jumped the shark when Marshall’s Dad died. But, that last season was just unwatchable.

Best: Six Feet Under was sublime; if any show has done a better one I haven't seen it.
Worst: I'm not quite through all the episodes yet but so far I'm HATING the final season of House of Cards. If it keeps on it's current trajectory the ending will not be good. I also hated the ending of Sons of Anarchy. It was good (and logical) completion of the story line but just so, so dark and disturbing.

Oh yeah, SOA really upset me. As a parent I just couldn’t wrap my head around him choosing the club over his boys. I knew that’s how it had to end but it made me irrationally angry just the same.

LOVED the reveal at the end of Sharp Objects (though I guess that was more a mini series)

I still don’t know what to make of the Sopranos ending but I’m appreciating it more over time. The final few episodes were so intense! I’m of the view the final fade to black was the end for Tony.

I would say that Six Feet Under was about the best, as far as wrapping stuff up. Some others such as Friends, left you feeling good and hoping they could someday pick up where they left off.

Sopranos comes to mind as the worst.
