I love credit cards so much!

Which credit cards do u have?
I have the following:

Bank of America Cash Rewards Card - first credit card. Still have it and use it since it’s my longest opened line of credit.

Citi AAdvatage Platinum Credit Card - If I fly anywhere I almost fly on American exclusively and that’s where all my miles are. I got a 50K miles/$3K spend signup bonus in 2015. All of my spend that doesn’t generate “extra” rewards on my other cards goes on this one. The card comes with group 5 boarding and first checked bag free on American flights among other benefits.

Citi Costco Credit Card - got this card for the cash back bonuses. Looking at around for $300 this year.

Target Credit Card - have it for the 5% target shopping savings

Chase Freedoom - just signed up for this last month for the $150 cash back sign up bonus. Will probably open the Chase Freedom Unlimited sometime next year.

I'm thinking the revamped Prestige would be a really good Disney card. 3x points on cruise bookings too.

You can use the 4th night free for Disney hotels, which will save a bundle since deluxe hotels in the bubble are insane expensive. Plus the $250 air travel credit is just switching to a $250 travel credit period, so more money toward Disney.

When DH had the card before I was able to use our TY points to book CBR and still got the fourth night free, so we did that trip for like no money since I had points for the airfare too of course.

The multiplier on airfare does nothing for me since I hold the Amex gold and plat and don't buy many paid tickets anyway. I fly free!

Ugh, got the BoA letter about my "small business credit application" and it's not a denial but it's the scary one where they want all kinds of business information. Offhand I'm thinking "retail" businesses > 1 year get asked for crazy stuff. I went back over my screenshots and I did it by the book, Sole Proprietor, no DBA, I'm the owner etc etc.
But even if I wasn't a "biz" I wouldn't have half of what they are asking for as, AFAIK, it's not required. If I were more organized I could provide the "internally prepared year-end profit and loss statement" requested in the case of sole proprietorship but being a "biz" I totally didn't make one at year end. I could cobble that together, but the 2 years of tax returns and proof of ownership/legal structure don't really exist.

I can't remember, did anyone call BoA for their business app that asked for this? Are there alternates I can provide? I'm tempted to let it die like some others but also curious how to get around this. I may call but I'd like to get an idea for what ask for or expect if I do.

And now I'm interested... :rotfl:

So this Citi Prestige 4th night free--is it what it sounds like? You stay on real money (not points) for 4 nights and you get the cost of 1 night rebated to you?

US bank has the club Carlson rewards cards. there are 4 of them including a bus. card that say you get 50K points with one purchase for each. and 10K or 35K more have spending $1500 or $2500 inside 90 days, plus the AF that are "not" waved in the first year. can I apply for these back to back doing all 4 next year, but only making the one purchase for each and hold all 4 of them for nearly 12 months each and then cancel them? meaning I get a total of 200,000 points, "not" the 290,000 if I did the min. spend requirement?

also can I apply for the Citi AAdavantage cards(Bus. included) consecutively next, and the US bank cards not create a problem with applying for the Citi cards?

also while I am doing all that. can I apply consecutively for the FNBO best western cards, 3 of them, one being a Bus. card all next year?

almost... you stay for 4 nights... Cost in total /4 = rebates u that.
Prestige app is not available currently... the new updated version looks like it is only up to twice a year.

Club Carlson is US Bank and they are hard to approve - it's doubtful you'd get all those cards, and most certainly not all back to back like that.

What other cards do you hold right now and what is your 5/24 status?

I am amazed how much a room at POR can change day-by-day. I booked 9 days ago, looked two days later and was able to save $10, then it shot up $50 a day later and not back down to the adjusted amount I had paid.
Wow, thanks, I did not know that Disney prices would fluctuate like that! I have a reservation at POR that I'd better start checking regularly!

How long have you had the biz? I'm curious why other's get this but I was approved. Had AS personal not a year old with 10k limit and a relationship foelr awhile even though my previous card had been closed. Used to bank with them years ago. Only put biz income no extra. So weird. Is a rental and maybe that makes a dif.

I'm wondering if it an inventory thing. Like one day garden view is avail (cheaper) and another day only water view then back to garden. Or similarly, one day a certain view is avail with a discount but then sells out but they add more discounted inventory.

I just went to check my SW reservation for our flights to Orlando in June, and the prices haven't changed, but I just think this is so weird...Our flight is the only nonstop that day (from Sac), and it's literally less than half the points of the other flights! Would people really prefer to have a layover, rather than a 5 hour nonstop fight? I don't get it.:confused3

I have the Chase Southwest Plus card. that I just paid off, and I am planning to cancel it mid December to set me up for January 2021 to get it again and get the Southwest Bus card to get companion pass for 2021-2022

I also have the Barclays Apple rewards card that I used to purchase my iPhone 8, and pay 0% interest for 18 months. I was approved for it in late September.

and I canceled a US bank REI credit card in spring of 2017. thats all the cards that I have and had.

oh yes, that would totally work too :) I never think of doubling up because I can't max out even one card!
I don’t know if I would max it out but rather be able to apply for the freedom unlimited first.

LAX's PP lounges are in other terminals, there is none in Terminal 1 where SW Resides. Unfortunately, T1 is separated from the rest of the terminals so you would need to clear TSA twice. It might work okay if u have TSA Pre(dont quote me on this). I thinke T2 has some restaurant PP lounges. Not worth it imo.

Do u have SW CP? Since your DH applied this year, maybe its a good chance to apply on his trip and getting 50k for a CP.

nope. Unless its something i posted on TPG Lounge facebook group lol. but i dont particularly post secrets as i dont gain at all there. I just help for fun there... :]
He will get the cp in December from his flights, business card bonus, spend, rr shopping. Almost had him apply inflight but then realized he will have enough without it. So this way he can do the personal card next year if needed.

I saw that about only using the 4th night free twice per year and Doc also posted that they are doing away with points being 1.25 when redeemed for airline purchases. If that's the case, I'll be getting it for the sign up bonus again and that's it. Whew, for once there's a premium card I'm not interested in keeping long term.
