Those pillows are way too soft for me not at all supportive. I suggest for those who prefer a firmer one bring your own from home. I’ve missed mine but will be home again on Saturday ( boo hiss).

Oh man that time flew so fast (inset sad face). Now we need another holiday to get over this one. Can’t wait to cuddle the cats again though. Dreading the laundry once we unpack. We do have some lovely items picked up during our stay( thankfully not a single bedbug urgh).

For those of you who are just arriving have a blast and those here soon enjoy a Happy Halloween. Have fun and be kind to each other.

I agree. Time flies when you are here. Another great day yesterday. We did AK. Pandora is amazing. Our FP for FOP is for Saturday so we didn’t do it. But I enjoyed Navi River Journey. We are back there tomorrow.
Yesterday was cool to start and end the day, but beautiful during the day.
Dinner was at Spice Road Table. It was great.
Off to MK again in a moment.

I am so bummed! The TA discounts for June finally came out yesterday and I got my quote back today, it's $46 more than last year! It's only 25% off rack rate. It's been much better than that in years past. Anyone remember what the annual passholder discount was this past June? Or general public? I think I'm going to go ahead and book and hope I can get a better discount when the AP rates come out.

Whether or not there was any availability is another thing though...over the last several SPECIAL OFFER cycles, there seems to have been great discounts, but nothing available.

I did get some awesome news yesterday. Last week I sent Guest Services an email regarding the noise and Magic Band issues we had at YC over Labor Day (as well as Magic Band issues we had at Pop earlier this month). I wasn't asking for, nor was I expecting anything from it, I just wanted to share my feedback. I got a call yesterday, and very surprisingly I was offered either 2 free nights at a Value or 1 free night at a Deluxe of my choice! I didn't even have any really major complaints, so I was really shocked to be offered this. I'm going to take the 1 night at a Deluxe and put it towards our June trip next year. So that dulls the pain a bit of the not so great discounts.

I have a hard time with hotel pillows, too. I sleep with a memory foam pillow at home and love it. The same company makes a travel pillow that’s a decent substitute. I bring that one everywhere since the king-sized one I use at home is pretty big to tote on a plane. If we drive when we visit next June, though, I’m brining the bigger one!

Just called & did my room requests for our January trip at BC. The website was still not showing options. We already booked lagoon/pool view, so I asked for a higher floor. We’re hoping to be able to see HS fireworks.

Everyone just had to evacuate pool area. We are all standing out by beach. Even Beaches & cream staff are out here with us. I think they are having trouble with the fire alarm system. We have had 2 fire alarm tests this week

Update- we got to return to the pool after about 1/2 hour. So far this week we've had 2 blaring fire drills that we were told to ignore, 1 evacuation, and 1 scheduled overnight power outage. What will tomorrow bring? Lol

No. (One person managed to preserve their discount and view and go to beach club, others were outright denied even that.)
