Upcoming port/itinerary changes HERE

I've seen St. Kitts kicking in for some lines on the Eastern - may not happen with DCL though as I don't know that they have ever stopped there so it might take more negotiations.

DCL has scheduled stops there. Magic and Fantasy both called there this last summer, and there are upcoming stops there - Fantasy not until next summer, but it has some schedule there. Wonder and Magic have closer-in scheduled calls.

"The government expects the commercial sector to be up and running by December, and most resorts to be open for business within a year, he said." (from article)

This is promising.

Well, I think commercial sector means stuff like hospital and shipping ports, not beach bars. I think most of the apparatus of shore excursions falls under "resorts."

True, but once the commercial sector is running, the rest will follow. We are on an Eastern in March. I don't know what to think, but, for their sake, I hope things will be back up and running.

I hope so too, also going in March. But I don't know how realistic that is given current conditions.

The British and the Coast Guard need to step up evacuation even if it makes recovery longer. People using tarps as roofs who lack plumbing and power aren't going to fare well even on the edges of another storm.

We don't freak out either. But when it comes to boys and p****** they think itnis the funniest stuff ever. I wouldn't compare the raunchiness in jamaican gift shops to Grecian statues.
I'm not referring to the Grecian statues. I'm talking about the erotic statues in all of the gift shops big erect penises. They were everywhere in Athens.

We're on the Oct. 7 trip so I'm now starting from scratch for excursion research. If anyone has any specific favorites to recommend in Cozumel, Grand Cayman, or Jamaica, please let me know.
In jamaica we had a blast riding the bobsleds on mystic mountain and doing the Dunns river falls. We did it with our 11 year and he loved it all

Ah, yes... the statues to the fertility goddess... or somthing like that. Very lifelike and must be big sellers, or they wouldn't be selling them, but who wants that as their memory of Athens on their mantle?

Was this an autocorrect error? Did you mean Dunns River Falls? That's the excursion we're doing in three weeks

Sandy, Mum and I loved this excursion - ok she didn't climb the falls but I did and we both loved the bobsleds. Would have loved more time at Mystic Mountain.

What about changing the Eastern cruise to a stop at Aruba?
Unlikely, I'd guess. When they go to Aruba from PC, it's usually as part of an 11-day Southern loop. I suppose if they made the cruise JUST Aruba and CC, they might be able to do it. But Aruba is really as far south as they get out of PC. It's practically South America.

Meanwhile, it's looking not good for San Juan as an alternate if Maria keeps on.
