Upcoming port/itinerary changes HERE

It's just that when you stop at all these places you haven't been before, you have an urge to go explore them.
I just love floating around at sea all day!
I'm in the same boat you're in! :rotfl2: I love floating around the ocean, but I also enjoy exploring the ports. On our EC cruise a few years back, we had great days in St. Thomas and St. Martin. It's sad to see the damage those places (and others) experienced. I'm hopeful they can recover soon.

Enjoy your cruise!

Here's the noon update. Note that the 9/16 Fantasy is a Western. 9/15 Dream goes to Nassau and CC.

Future Bahamian and Eastern Caribbean Sailings

At this time, we are assessing our terminal building in Port Canaveral and anticipate the September 15 Disney Dream cruise and the September 16 Disney Fantasy cruise will sail as planned.

We continue to assess Hurricane Irma’s impact on the ports of call we visit in the Caribbean and Bahamas. Updates regarding any necessary itinerary changes will be posted on our website later this afternoon.

That latest announcement makes sense, since none of those ports were destroyed by the hurricane. The big giant question is the 09/23 and 10/07 Eastern Caribbean Fantasy. I'm on the 10/07, so I'm hoping for St. Kitts or Grand Cayman.

I'm hoping for Key West, Cozumel, and Jamaica! We loved Key West and Cozumel and haven't been to Jamaica yet.

I would think Cozumel and Jamaica would be pretty booked up since all of the other cruise lines switched their Eastern to the Western.

You aren't missing anything in Jamaica. The excursions require a lot of travel. We just walked the port area and my kids saw plenty of inappropriate stuff. :headache:
I don't care much for Cozumel either, but at least it has Nachi Cocum.

We would like to see Dunn Falls once. In Cozumel, we loved Paradise Beach.

Most all of them I was reading on Cruisecritic.com. Just glancing at them, looks like RC, Carniaval, MSC, etc went/going to Cozumel instead of Eastern.

Also, check out that link above from auroraborealis. Scroll down and look at the before/after of Tortola. That port area got hit bad.

I have been trying to find info on cc but am not very familiar with the site and haven't had much luck.

Not quite sure where to post this, but the Park 'N Cruise Port Canaveral posted that they were hit by a tornado. Nobody was hurt thankfully but most cars parked there were damaged to some extent. Needless to say the lot will be closed for upcoming cruises. The port itself is still closed but DCL seems confident that it will be open for the 9/15 and 9/16 sailings. Regarding those sailings the Port of Nassau is open with reports that the island suffered very little damage if any. Still no word I can find on Castaway Cay but no reason to expect any major problems there either.
