Park, resort or other?

I'll guess Disney Springs?

This is from a resort. :goodvibes :tink:

Just spent 2 1/2 hours watching live stream from MK today on Resort TV1...NO crowd at all :faint:; every attraction was almost a walk-on. The Mine Train had a 20-30 minute wait! Could NOT believe people were already gathering at their resorts instead of taking advantage of the park. They're going to be "locked in" for 2 days ...I'd certainly be "getting exhausted" at the parks today! :rotfl: :tink:

All still good. Power keeps flickering but still have it. Ran a mile earlier in between the heavy feeder bands. Getting bored with staying inside. Winds are quite gusty.

:thumbsup2 Good deal. How high is the wind...looking like it's hitting Miami pretty hard now. Reporter from Key West showed the paint being peeled off the rails at his hotel! I KNOW what you mean about being bored. The walls start "closing in" after awhile. :tink:

Yes it has been hard in Miami. We will be getting all that soon enough.

This is from a value resort. :tink:

A of A?

I've been following a thread of people stuck in the resorts. Sounds like a great place to be if you have the kind of room that opens into a hallway and you can go to the lobby and the restaurants. The CM are doing all sorts of things to entertain people. I'm guessing it's not as much fun if you have a door that opens to the wind/rain and you can't get to the lobby or activities.

Do you have a link to the live stream inside the MK?

Here's a link to a web cam from the Contemporary: http://disneylivecams.com/all-cams/disney-world-cams-5/virtual-contemporary-resort

No I don't...was posted on another thread. They're to be live streaming from their home in Orlando today; haven't had a chance to search for it yet today. DD and SIL went to Texan football game and DGD's were here for lunch...busy morning so far. It was Resort TV1 if that helps. They stream live every Friday from one of the parks and made a special trip yesterday to check the crowds and preparation. I get notices on Facebook..will try to find it but will be later...:tink:

Correct...I read a few pages of that thread also. WL, CR, AKL and the AK Villas and the GF would be the only resorts with lobby rooms, right? Even those at the Poly will have to stay in the Longhouses when the storms get bad. On another thread, a gentlemen posted a short video...Port Orleans CM's have even placed sandbags along the walkways to the bottom floor rooms because of the river. :tink:

Just saw this on Facebook :goodvibes:

A FOX reporter in Naples said the winds are bad but "not as bad as I saw/experienced in Corpus during Harvey. DH said Port Aransas recorded a 190 mph during Harvey. Irma, however, has the longest hours of sustained winds than any storm ever. :scared::tink:
